Root wipe ext partition

    How do you wipw the ext partition via adb?

    You misunderstood his question. I would like to know as well how to completely wipe the ext2 as if it were reformatted.

    Thank you Paul!!!! Im happy u understand my question. I dont post with out searching first and i tried a few commands already and they do work and i cant flash R8 with out wiping

    you mean other than just running the command? I use gparted and if i just delete the partition and create it again

    Oh sorry. I would assume
    Code (Text):
    1. adb shell rm -R /system/sd/*
    or just plug your phone in and mount the sd card from the notification menu then format using whatever program you used to create it.

    You can also use amon ra recovery if you have an htc device rooted with it, I usually do it with my old g1 or hero
