If I wanted to wipe out my contacts, say in an effort to load a new set of contacts via a .cvs file, is there anyway to wipe them all at once or will I have to go through them one by one?

Should be able to hit menu in contacts, select delete, then menu again, select all, and delete

On my Droid X I don't see any "menu". The button at lower left when tapped brings up "Add contact", Backup Assistant", "Search", "Display Group", "My Info", and "More". and "more" does not contain "Delete" or "Select all" either!
Where can I find this menu?

There is an app called "contact remover" that isn't a one click solution but it will let you batch delete by checking each box and then clicking the delete button once. Much nicer than the seventy four button method to delete each contact. It's a free app in the market
