Root wireless tether access point instead of ad hoc

Nice. My only problem is that it means giving up OCUV Hydra, which means giving up the extra snappiness under high load and the 4 or so extra hours of battery life I have been getting.

I will wait for hydra kernels to incorporate this.

Me too. I threw it on there to test for them this morning. What I did was installed the zip, got it to work, the reflashed hydra kernel. No harm done. Now if I want it to work I just reflash the kernel from the zip on the link and voila, access point.
