Does anyone have wireless tether working?

I have tried the built in hotspot app, wireless tether for root, and barnacle, non of them will work.

Ok, I have the built in hot spot app working, but only if I have no password. When I try to enable any type of encryption it will not connect to the internet. Any ideas??

that's odd, I use my stock hotspot daily and it worked great both stock and with Iced-Glacier, even with password (don't want drivers near me running me over-limit and causing me to get throttled back)

I think I just got a bad MT4G. I removed my rom, went back to stock and still doesn't work, my wife's works fine. oh well, I'm not worried about it since I'm returning it for the nexus s on Thursday anyways.

You heard wrong. Carriers and manufacterers have 0 input on software on the nexus line. Everything comes straight from Google, that is the phones biggest advantage.

I think you'll have to activate that feature with Tmobile that's all.
