won't charge

suddenly my eris wont charge. i click on the battery widget and it says charging but it doesnt... any thoughts

Try pulling the battery, plugging it in and see if it will charge without the phone being turned on.

It started happening to me too just 2 days ago. I wonder if it has anything to do with power shortages/ electricity drain. Im having problems with the wiring in my house and im running 2 air conditioners off of 1 circuit. Im wondering if thats draining my battery because when I plug it in at work or on a different circuit the eris charges.

Mine won't charge if it gets too hot. Are you seeing the red and green light alternating? That is the signal that the battery is overheated. It stops charging to prevent damage.
