Any good word processing apps in the market that might be compatible with Microsoft Word? I saw something in there for Office 2008 but it seemed like it was just like a tutorial on how to use the applications.

I use Documents to Go. I have the full version... I think you can view Office Docs with the free version, but need the full version key to be able to edit the Docs.

    ^^^^ Agreed.

The full version also has decent PDF viewing too.

Tip for you: The regular price is $29.99, but they run sales randomly. Currently I believe it's on sale right now in the Market because they sold some certain amount of copies. Good program for $14.99 or so, pushing the limits at $29.99.

I agree, if it isn't on sale just wait until it is if you can. They seem to have it on sale pretty frequently.

I don't use it often but I like the fact that I have it for when I may need it.
