    Hi all.

I have a soft spot for the HTC EVO 4G but as there is no 4G network here in the UK, would the phone still operate? I assume it would just operate on whatever type of connectivity is available (2G, 3G, HSDPA, etc).

With that in mind, theoretically, could I buy one, have it shipped over to the UK, enter all of the network connectivity details, and it should work, right?

Failing that, what Android devices are there in the UK which have a 4 - 5 inch display size? I want one.

No, it won't, if i remember correctly, pretty much the entire UK is GSM.

The Evo 4g is a CDMA device.

The only other 4-5 inch display android devices are:

Dell Streak GSM, 5" display, it would work in the UK
Motorola Shadow unknown network at this time, 4.1" display
Samsung Galaxy S GSM, 4" display, would work in the UK
