Wrong 2-step verification code on SIII

I use 2-step verification for gmail. Works fine with the iPad app but the Android app gives me a wrong code every time.

Not a problem with gmail as it will accept code when texted to my Android phone.

How do I get my GS3 to give me the right code. I have the same time zone on S3 as computer. Remember the iPad app works fine.

I'm a little confused by your post. What code are you trying to get it to give you?

The 2-step app on your phone is used in conjunction with your logging into your gmail account through a web browser.

If your trying to put a number different log in password in you gmail account, you will have to generate that from you main gmail account.
