Can the Xfinity app run on Droid Eris ?? I downloaded and when I started the app, I get an error message... "Sorry, but this device does not have the amount of memory required to run this application. Please go to the Android Market for more information"

Yes it does work, I'm running Gingershedbread 1.9 and it works fine. Changes channels etc. As far as watching something on demand no Flash 10.1 = no dice. Xfinity TV is available for 2.1 and 2.2. I had to download an APK because gingerbread is 2.3. Pretty neat way to mess with your spouse while she watches her shows Might need to root to run! Just go ahead and root, load up some 1.9 Gingershedbread. Enjoy your new phone!
