So I'm looking for a new phone (my current phone is an LG Optimus F3 with Virgin Mobile) and I've fallen in love with the Redmi Note 3. The only issue is that there are no service providers in the US that support Xiaomi phones. I've read threads about people being able to use these phones in the US, but it does not explain how. you can change the APN settings on a phone for it to work with a different provider.
Will this work? Can all foreign phones be modified to be used in the US?
If not, it would be great for someone to suggest an alternative phone.
