Ok, a bit jealous that Xoom is getting ICS before we are, well at least in testing releases, but still. Nexus S isn't following much in a Nexus S experience, and is anyone making noise over it? Probably not, but I hope so soon. I imagine they are working on it, but my thirst is getting bigger for some good ICS treats.

I finally got fed up with waiting and am trying some of the roms from xda. Not impressed at all, yet.

I agree. Our phone isn't even a year old, and it should have Ice Cream Sandwich already. I'm currently running oICS v43 because I became tired of waiting for the official release. Sprint better not be making us wait to get it until after their Galaxy Nexus launches.

Truthfully, I've already decided that I'm done with Sprint and Android altogether. Every single one of Microsoft's first gen Windows Phone devices received the Mango upgrade last fall, and will also get the upgrade to Tango, and possibly Apollo at the end of the year. This helped me make my decision to leave Sprint and go to AT&T when my contract is up.

I was hoping the frustration level would be less, with a Nexus phone...but I was wrong.

So you actually believe Micro$oft will be better

Enjoy the higher cost and dropped calls on AT&T

Because you replaced the "S" in Microsoft with a "$", I have now seen the light...geez, what is this, 2002? Android has flaws too and you know it. At least the Windows Phone platform isn't rank with fragmentation like Android is. Hell even their own Nexus devices are fragmented.

All blatant fanboyism aside, I've had Sprint for over 6 years now. I suffered through the Instinct, Instinct s30, and Samsung Moment, until they finally got a decent Android handset, the HTC EVO (which is probably the best Android phone ever, IMO). I then decided I would get a Nexus S 4G since the EVO wasn't going to be getting Ice Cream Sandwhich, and the NS4G would, at least according to the Android team at Google.

It is now 2 months since the GN was released, and still no Ice Cream Sandwich (officially) on my device. This is a terrible pattern I'm seeing with Android, and I'm done with it, and the accompanying frustration. They can't even control fragmentation on the ONE PHONE that they have complete control over (Nexus). Do you need proof?

Sprint has better plans/prices than AT&T, that much is true, but we all know it's just a matter of time before Sprint becomes just like AT&T and VZW.

As for the mobile experience, I honestly prefer Windows Phone to Android, and I've used Android for well over 2 years (since it came to Sprint). For me, Windows Phone is better. It works. I don't need a ton of apps. I have a core set of apps that I use, and they are available on both platforms. It's not a matter of whether one is better than the other, to me, it's what works for me. Sprint doesn't want to carry Windows Phone, so I'll go to a carrier that will.

At least I can buy an AT&T phone and put it on T-Mobile's network. It's about choice for me. Sprint doesn't want to give me a choice, then I'll go to a carrier that gives me what I want.

Well, not for flames, but the GN wasn't released two months ago, but just within a month as of right now. It was announced and shown off at the Samsung event, but it wasn't released then or even announced of availability then either.

The GN was released, internationally, on the 17th of November. The VZW GN wasn't released until 12/15/2011.

Well true, I forgot we're on an international podium, sorry. Well, in that regards, where's the delete button.... Hey, I was so stuck on Xoom that I sort of forgot the other worldly parts :)
