XPERIA 10X question

Hi everyone.. I am about to hit the hay after many hours of 'discovering' all in my new phone..
I have come from a Blackberry and loved it although with my provider not supporting mms or internet.. I couldn't get the functionality that we all take for granted in most modern phones..

Anyway.. I wonder.. I have Vista on my laptop and I wanted to upload my photos that were on my blackberry to the XPERIA 10X.. There was no software with the phone..and when I plugged in the cable and tried to open the phone through 'My Compter' (as nothing else popped up) it says.. "Please insert a disk into removable disk G"..

I have tried several times and this continues to happen..

How can I upload my prior photos, videos and voicenotes??
