Help Xperia Arc dropping calls

My wife has a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.

Since last "firmware" update (done using Sony Ericsson update software installed on desktop) we have been experiencing a series of calls dropped after a couple of seconds.

It doesn't seem to be a carrier issue, because it started after last update and because we have used that SIM card in another phone and calls are not dropped.

The "symptoms" are simple: after a few seconds of conversation one person cannot hear the other and a little later the call is dropped.

Does anyone have the same issue?

I'd suggest to do the Repair Phone option on PC Companion to see if that helps in case it is a software problem.

Is it possible that radio version makes calls drop more easily?
