okay so i installed the app called handcent sms, but my other one is still on. (the Default one)

I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the default one so only handcent is in use.

Just open the stock messaging service, then in the settings turn off notifications

MESSAGING > MENU > SETTINGS > NOTIFICATIONS (untick this)

I run handcent myself and this is the way i was told to set my phone, works brilliantly
