Hey,
I am one of the few people who did go and purchase the Xperia X8 from SE even though it was released with Android 1.6.
Today, SE announced that the 2.1 update for X8 was out and i promptly went and got it, and i must say, there was a major performance boost, but i still find it slow at times. My average free RAM is between 20-30mb. And i'm running the basic stuff. Gmail, ChompSMS and Talk. Thats it.
I was planning on using ADW Launcher/Launcher Pro for a better UI, but i want to free up more memory. And i would like to know what services i can kill/block so that i have enough memory for it to run smoothly.
Cheers!
Karthik
