x's hdmi vs. the incredible's component video

from what I've read, hdmi will only show certain content while the component video will show anything that's on the screen. Do you guys think hdmi will eventually become more lenient, or do you think component will be the only way to go if you want to view everything on the phone?

Just to correct a little, Inc doesn't use component, it uses composite, two totally different types of video.

With that said, I'm pretty sure eventually HDMI will probably become more accepted as a TV out option, but will most likely be kept limited in what will show on screen, hope this turns out not to be the case though.

Composite video is fine and dandy in that the cable for it can be quite simple but it lacks in the video quality department.
