For some reason, all of my contacts for Yahoo Messenger are appearing offline. If i log into another Messenger application they appear fine. Idle, Online, and Mobile contacts all appear as if they are offline.

I happen to have two sign-in names for Yahoo. One works fine, but the other one has the issue. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but i still have the same problem.

Anyone having an issue like this?

    Samsung Captivate

However this only happens when using 3g internet and i can still send and receive messages..even video call the erroneously-shown offline contact.
Everything is ok when using wifi internet. All online contacts are correctly shown as online.

Aside from showing all of my contacts "offline", message does not get to a user who's online when I test it... Been lookin' and searchin'... still have no luck :(

I had this issue too! You have to enable background data! This fixed all my issues!

Same with me. Yahoo Messenger was working for several daus until I have tried it today. E-Buddy works fine so it's not an issue on my yahoo account.
