With my Blackberry storm I was able to delete emails from both my phone and the server; however, it appears with my yahoo account and droid eris, it doesn't affect my inbox at all, only my phone. Furthermore, if I delete it from the inbox it remains on my phone. How can I set this up so it runs like my blackberry and "syncs".

My wife uses Yahoo, and it's the same deal. I think the only way to "properly" use Yahoo! Mail on your phone is to upgrade to a Yahoo! Plus subscription ($20 annually) or just do it in the browser.

I actually did upgrade and am using yahoo Plus. I paid for it so that I could have this feature, but it doesn't seem to work.

Hm. Sounds like a Yahoo! problem. Try contacting Verizon, HTC and Yahoo! and see if anyone can help you get to the bottom of it.

I have sync'ed my phone to my free Yahoo and Hotmail (school) accounts. When I delete an e-mail on my phone, the e-mail is also deleted from the server.
