Great ROM, best AOSP ROM currently available IMO. very smooth, more so than 1.2 and has some nice ICS animation tweaks. Running great with Imo's 6.0.0/6.1.0 with/without call recording.

Well lbrick, I flashed the new version of Thundershed. It still doesn't impress me as much as Shift ic3. I see absolutely no difference in performance as far as speed and smoothness, but overall it just doesn't seem as polished. For instance, I like to turn off the lockscreen and use widgetlocker exclusively. Well, when I do that everytime I reboot the status bar foreclosed. No big deal, just hit forceclose and it reloads(EDIT: Except for the time that it didn't reload after I wrote this and I had to reboot). Then I pulled down the notification bar once and there was a notification there. Except there was no notification in the status bar nor had anything happened to generate a notification. It promptly disappeared without me touching it. I ran quadrant just for comparison purposes. Same scores, but sometimes the test wouldn't run right on Thundershed. The graphics would clip sometimes, and parts of the test were shortened or lengthened sometimes. It skipped one of the test screens one time. It's little things like this that make me lose confidence in Shed. Just doesn't seem finished like the older Shift.
I'd love to hear your take on Shift sometime, though.

I was on shift ics 3.2 and it completely blacked out screen. I liked that rom too. Quick and snappy (though now that I don't have them, the soft keys at the bottom were annoying)

Oh, those sofbuttons were just part of the ics launcher that came with the rom. That launcher had all kinds of bugs. It also came with ADW which has no soft buttons. I use ADW EX, fastest launcher around.

Yeah I have it saved, just haven't taken to time to flash it and set it up yet.
The lockscreen thing is something every AOSP ROM I've ever ran has had an issue with. So I just leave the stock one enabled, and let Widgetlocker override it. Although since CM7 has a decent lockscreen I've started using that in place of Widgetlocker.
The status bar seems a little strange. I have the center clock mod running and the Team miui style battery bar all running and haven't had any issues with it, and there's plenty goin on up there.. lol..
Yeah, the status bar only happened with the lockscreen turned off. I did like some of Sheds animations better. Overall performance is dead on with both roms, though.
How long should it take to boot. I know it's longer the first time. I've rooted dozens of droids and some nexuses but this is my first thunderbolt for my g/f. I waited about 20 minutes. That long enough to consider it a boot loop? I'd think so. I pulled the battery and then just reverted back to a backup. How does wireless tether work? That's the only thing she cares about
Im a little bit confused with CM7 for Thunderbolt. Is this only for the radio version .5? or will my rooted TBolt with .9 radio also be able to run the CM7 rom? From what I am understanding I can not use CM7 with the .9 radio(MR4). Can anybody confirm this? Also if this is true, what ROMs are out currently that support the .9 radio(MR4) ?

Wipe data, Cache, Dalvik, Format system, Before flashing?
If so, make sure you're clockwork recovery is up to date, 5+ or will not load. Seems the case with most of the new ROMs.
If you did all that, I'd re-download and try again. Maybe a bad download?

The MR4 radios work fine, as well as the Open Mobile leaked radios.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think the touch version has been officially released for the Thunderbolt yet. I haven't checked so I can't say for sure, but there was a beta version floating around a while back.
Works just fine btw. I don't have ROM manager installed so I don't know if its been officially updated, but if you can find the touch version I'd go for it, its pretty sweet.
Someone on Rootz put it into a PG05 file for easier installation. Ill see if I can find the thread..

I can't download anything from the market. Can't be downloaded due to an error. I didn't add the new radios because I haven't messed with that on any phone. I understand it's the only way to surely brick the phone if you screw up
Edit: after a few reboots it's working.
I have a nexus and had every ROM installed on my Droid at one time or another but this is on my girlfriend phone. I've got to say this is the coolest ROM I've seen. It has it all. Well done!
Is there any way to add a shortcut or widget for hotspot?

I flashed this the other night and it kept freezing when I would adjust the governor. I was impressed with it, though, for the little bit of time I had it on my phone. Any suggestions on how to keep it from freezing?

I've been running 1.4 for a few days now and I like the improvements. Could be placebo effect, but the scrolling cache seems to have smoothed things out a little further, and I didn't have any complaints with that on 1.3.
I always do a full wipe cause I'm anal like that.. (insert joke) but a dirty flash hasn't created any issues from what I've read.

flashed 1.4 tonight and noticed when a friend texted me, it only displayed the number. go into my contacts and NOBODY is there...though in GO SMS, names are displayed. back out, check contacts again...nothing. back to GO, names. get a popup text, number only.
wiped cache and dalvik when i flashed (as i've always done with updates). am i missing something? some unknown setting?
edit: just went to market and it told me i had to associate a google account. went to accounts & sync and it didnt give me an option to add a gmail. only corporate and facebook.
Edit 2: had to reflash gapps. All better now!

Whenever I receive a call and maybe every thirty seconds when dialing the phone vibrates. Any idea why?I swear I have all vibrate and haptic feedback turned off but I must be missing something

Go to settings, then call settings, then see if "vibrate every 45 seconds on incoming calls" is checked.

Thundershed rocks the Tbolt!
I am loving Thundershed v1.4_CM7.2-Tbolt!!!
this is by far the best rom I have used so far. Have tried CM7, Bamf (several), viscous, miui amongst others. When I flashed TS I had problems the first run through but then re-flashed and bingo! No errors, fc's or problems that I have found whatsoever. It is stable as hell, smooth, maybe even flawless. This is the best tbolt build i have seen so far. It will take something extra spectacular to make me flash anything else on my TB.
