Default ICS ROM Leaked to Teambamf

The thread is here. The build is 7.00.605.2.

Edit: If you run into the problem where turning on Bluetooth causes reboots, there's a radio that fixes that.

Edit (again!): From jrocker23:

There is a new ICS radio rip here [LEAK] [RADIOS] 7.00.605.2 ICS RADIOS - Thunderbolt Development - RootzWiki

Hey Guys, I have installed the ICS Team Bamf Rom. It runs good but I have to advise that A full factory reset & I strongly suggest a full sd card format through recovery for it to run right. Without these, you can run into a lot of issues.

Since this is not the RUU leak & its their personal build, i will not be releasing my version yet. I am waiting on a full RUU and then I will build my ICS Rom.

There is nothing wrong with Bamf's at all but it wouldn't be fair to piggy back off of someones else work. It runs smooth & is a great upgrade.. Try it out..

I agree. I had continuous reboots, but once I did a factory reset the ROM ran just fine.

Weird. It's been stable for me. The phone doesn't have service at the moment, but I haven't seen any reboots.

HEART YOU GUYS! Just flashed, no issues, service is good, 3g is solid. Only question is can I do any different Kernels? I'd like to clock up a bit but this Kernel wont allow me.

I flashed this last night and have no ill effects at all. Too soon to know if battery life is better. Can't wait for developers to get some cool ROMs out to us. Thanks Team BAMF.

My Bluetooth and WiFi also seems to be working fine. My main reason for the rooting was to fix my losing data connection problem. Although it seems to have improved, I'm still losing data after the phone had been idle for a while but turning the mobile internet off and on seems to fix it, at least for a while again

I'm regretting getting a Droid3 when I renewed my contract. I'd love to be using my TBolt with this.

Remember, you are using a stock ROM with no tricks or Dev adjustments. Its also running the stock kernel. There is no way to get better battery life right now until they make a custom version

Default Signal strength

Seems to me the signal strength is low or non-existent. Wi Fi and Tether work fine if set to correct profile and ad hoc network. No other problems noted.

I am having issues with 3G/4G randomly not able to connect. The only fix is rebooting the phone.

also remember that the rom may have been modified to work with current firmware(every other device thats gotten ICS has gotten a new hboot, radios, etc) since some of the mount points(sd and internal storage) have been changed in ICS.

its also not a release version

Working very good for me. Wifi, tether, bluetooth all solid. Only issues I have are with a bit of sluggishness (which could be more of an app issue) and I have constant reboot only when trying to use my Screenshot It app. Otherwise, all running smoothly.

Thanks!

I edited the first post as well, but wanted to make sure that those still following this thread were aware that there's a new radio. It fixes the problem where the phone gets stuck in a reboot loop when you enable Bluetooth. It kicks a reboot when you first turn it on and gets stuck in it until you pull the battery.

Hey mayhem,

Just to advise, that is not a new radio, that radio has been around for a while. It came with the last ota from verizon.

There is a new ICS radio rip though here [LEAK] [RADIOS] 7.00.605.2 ICS RADIOS - Thunderbolt Development - RootzWiki

and a combo radio of .19 and ics here [RADIO] ICS Leak Combo Radio 2.11.605.19/7.00.605.2 - xda-developers

Ah. Thanks for the clarification. The radio I had was older (1.48 something). I corrected the original post to mention that it's a radio (removed the new) that fixes the issue.

I'll post your link to the ICS radio in the original post as well so that its easier to find. No fun having to dig through long threads to find the current info.

No problem, the .19 radios do work well.
