Default Possible pricing and name for the new coming Toshiba Tablet

THIS has been the tablet I am holding out for. IMHO, it makes the Xoom - in price and hardware/user options - pail in comparison. As we know, both Amazon and BB have holding pages for it.

Well, some rumored pricing & names appeared today on the web:

ANT-100 at 8gb at $450
ANT-102 at 16gb at $500
ANT-104 at 32gb at $580

the story & details

now we just need a release date

Question Toshiba vs Acer

I have been following the Toshiba threads and hope to see a release date.
I just noticed there's A500 from Acer already out. Any pro and con compare to Toshiba?

it's called the Thrive

You’ll be able to pre-order the Thrive starting on June 13 - likely for a 1 month later release in middle of July. At $429, the base model is $70 cheaper than the iPad 2, but you only get 8GB of storage for the price. For 16GB, the Thrive still costs $20 less than the base iPad 2 at $479, and the 32GB version is similarly cheaper at $579. There is no 64GB flavor of the Thrive, however.

The replaceable battery is a real plus for me. I just cannot see throwing away a tablet after 2 or 3 years.
