Default Toshiba Thrive 16GB for $280

I've found a Toshiba Thrive 16GB for $280 I cannot tell you where it is because everyone will buy it and I will miss my chance to get it.....

Is this a good deal and it's Reconditioned should I buy it or get a new one for almost twice the amount......

Please let me know......

It's not from Ebay, Craiglist or Amazon I just cannot tell you sorry....

As long as its factory refurbished then yeah, go for it. May have some cosmetic blemishes if you can live with that.

If it is not refurbished from the factory and you're buying it second hand then I would pass. There could be warranty issues if something were to happen with it

Actually, HHGregg has a coupon in their Sunday supplement that gets you a new Thrive for $349, and NewEgg is selling the Thrive for $399 and giving you a $70 gift card.

So $280 for a refurbished unit isn't all that far under the current market.

There are several posts on another Thrive forum that say the $280 is for an 8 GB, based on the SKU#.

They're sold out now. I'd have picked on up for my husband if I'd been up this morning.
