Default Blocking porn on the Thrive

Is it possible to block porn on the Thrive? I want to get one for each of two teenagers.

Not to be a downer, but if they are determined (and usually are), they can find it with no problem, even on the iPad.

I was also curious on what kind of parental control the Thrive offers.

The best way to do this is to root the device and install an alternate hosts file. This would redirect the offending sites to 127.0.0.1 instead of loading them.
I use adware as a means to easily to control things on Thrive.
I have to agree with the above statement in that if there is a will, there is a way to still access adult content sites.

What we use on my phone is X3 watch which costs about $6 on the android market last I checked. While it doesn't BLOCK adult content, it is always running in the background and discourages the viewing of such material. You set up the accounts so that it sends an email to the accountability partners who have their email set up in the app(you can add as many as you want). It then sends a welcome email to the partners with a hello message as well as a list of how many apps are on the device as well as what they are. Every time an adult website is visited, I believe it flags the website and sends an immediate email to the partner(s). Same goes with app downloads. You can also set it up to where it sends you a weekly report of any websites visited that seem suspicious.

Hope this helps, and you might look into it.

P.S. I know that the last post here was over a month ago, but this response was meant for anyone else who is looking for an app that will help discourage the viewing of adult material. I know that for me, it definitely helps. Whenever I feel the urge to go to a website like that, I see the notification in the notification bar and say to myself, "Yeah...... Let's not do that.."
