ha got to install all my apps one by one since i dident make any backups ..but it is worrth it ..Chev im loving this update it is very responsive .. the screenshot feature is one of my favorites so far .. this rom is the best

yeah i tried to keep it small the Custom roms can be picked up everywhere so i just included stocks cuz they are a little more annoying to find at times.

can anyone think of a reason my 3g and wifi would be slower now on 6.0.4? From 1.5 kbps to 400 kbps on 3g and from 16 kbps to 6 kbps on wifi....same location/home router. Don't know if anyone else has experienced this. Ran the 3g turbo booster script and same deal. Chrome browser is gone too so downloaded opera.
there is a Mozzila Beta APK one of the guys tossed me the other day
runs great.
and it could be an issue with the script, or a dirty install.

Thought the same with the install so went back to 6.0.3 and tried again. I had flashed the green theme as well and was getting a lot of fc so needed to anyway. Still the same though after a fresh install. The mozila beta sounds interesting though...

I have great scell signal AND wifi signal, but keep getting an error while downloading. Is it because my OTA updater updated AUTOMATICALLY thru the market???

I read somwhere it said not to up date the ota updater just go into settings-aplications and uninstall the update ..

[The Firefox browser is your best bet(the link is earlier in the thread)]
[if you Must have the Browser from 6.0.3 here it is:Chrome themed Maxthon Browser.
2 The Link for the themes are the original Links on the very first page, see when the last time the post was edited.
[DO NOT!!!!!! try to install the themes yet, wait until the post says (last edited 10/**/12
the themes from 9/20/12 will not work.]
3. It is safe to update the OTA updater, none of us have had any issue, if it is malfunctioning just re download it from the Google play store.
[If it malfunctions, uninstall the update and reboot your phone, 6.0.4 should tell you it's an update then.]

I must! Thanks. The Maxthon is my favorite browser so far; just works. I like Firefox, but it doesn't seem as intuitive on the phone (ie doesn't autofocus)...maybe I'm just not - intuitive that is! Thanks.
Hello all. I am itching to pull the trigger on flashing this rom, but I have a couple of questions. I am currently running 6.0.3, no issues, so I want to get this right the 1st time. 1) accept the update. Do I tick the box saying clean cache? 2) reboot to cwm and flash the rom. 3) after flashing, clean dalvik cache and then fix permissions. 4) finally, while I'm still in cwm, do an advanced data restore from my backup of 6.0.3. Does this sound about right? Thanks

all of that seems right but i didnt tick the box for "clean cache" and i dont think you will need to do an advanced data restore. this one acts like a patch like last installment did. i had a minor issue with apps from my sd card loading right and realized i forgot to clear dalvik cache so i think that is vital enough to make note of for a successful flash. idk about the fix permissions part tho

Thanks.[/Q. I don't think you have to. Fix permissions but not positive. My sugestion would be to do a full install. 6.0.4 if you have any problems installing the update..
