I don't see why it wouldn't work if it can install a rom, it should be able to install 2 apks.

It should just be the standard
Code:
mount("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p15", "/system");
package_extract_dir("/system", "/system");
Command

Here's a link with some of the edify script commands and their usage

Try this:
Code:
run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "/system");
package_extract_dir("system", "/system");
This is the method used by the rom's updater script

if you want to send me a copy, i can look at it for you

if you're trying to move some stuff to /data/app, just mount /data

Code:
run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "/data");
you just need to add

Code:
package_extract_dir("data", "/data");
and a data folder in the zip

  • [meta-inf]
    [system]
    -----[app]
    -----[framework]
    [data]

Code:
run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "/system");
run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "/data");

Talking Finally installed this.

Just dropping by to say nice work on this rom. I've had my phone rooted for as long as I owned it but wanted to wait before installing more custom stuff until the kinks were worked out. I watched this get released, and said wait for the next update. Well I waited til 6.0.4 and finally gave in lol.

I finally installed 6.0.4 over the weekend and I am impressed. I had read that people said it made their phone more responsive but didn't think it would be such a drastic improvement. I'm running the processor @ 1.3Ghz max and even without that change, I noticed a huge improvement in general quickness of the phone.

So thanks to all the people that worked on this rom and every other piece of custom tweak or software to make our phones nicer.

edit: I skipped the part about link2sd, not using it. I've had sd card issues before and didn't want to bother with it. Plus I just don't have so many apps installed that I need extra room. I have had no issues or bugs with this rom at all since install.

Problem solved I'm just using the standard script from UOT and its working fine...

Cool, thx man, the only thing with the themes is that they mess with 2 options in the power menu, they all still work, but MTCR is for Screenshot, and Screenshot does quick reboot, go figure, hopefully Chev can gimme a fix for it, if not then I guess they not really hurting anything, would just be nice to have it the way it's supposed to be...

I noticed that with my theme too (glad it's not just me). Also, for some reason, the picture to the left of the two options isn't what it's supposed to be.

Exactly, I think it's because of what Chev added to the power menu, and the UOT Kitchen didn't know what to do with that part... :/

Well don't know cuz when I use the stock theme that we were suppose to use on uot (main page) is when I had that issue... so I went to megatrons update *not the themes update* and grab the files from there ...no issues since

Default The New Guy's Appreciation

Just gotta say...I <3 this ROM. Can't compare it to stock cuz, well, I flashed this on my TU as soon as I got it . So...much...amazing...o.O. Chev, Mav, thank you for making my phone ABSOLUTELY STYLISH

Also, just a quick question: does anyone know what could cause headset controls in music apps to not work properly? No matter how I adjust priority, it only functions for calls.

at full bars i only get at most 700ish down. i have used a 3G tweak in the past that pushed me to 1700 on Chev's old rom but at a major toll on my battery. i think the different speeds have something to do with what towers are where. so say not alot of folks where im at have/need 3G so the towers out here are dated even tho my baseband is the latest etc. i dont know if thats correct but its a speculation of mine.

Whoa!! Wait a minute, are you saying to actually use the Framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk from the 6.0.4 installation zip?? If that's the case that's a simple fix!!

It has to do with the towers and network load. I'm not running this rom, and I have never tweaked anything for 3G and my best (according to the history in the speedtest app) is 1986 kbps down, 677 kbps upload. However I just ran a test and got 250kbps download, and 36kbps upload. HORRIBLE LOL. You can try some of the 3G tweaks but if the tower in your area sucks there isn't much you can do.

Ralakki have you tried a different PRL???? I'm on 11115 and loving it!!! It seems to help!!! The highest I've gotten is around the 1800kbs up and 600kbs down!! I was in Akron Ohio and my closets server was in Cincinnati!!! But I had mock locations on too if it matters and gps is always off!!! But I'm constantly tweaking something on this phone!!!! Its so awesome! But ill try to recreate the settings take some screen shots for you of the tests and my settings!!! If theirs any other way I can help let me know!!

Hey I have some huge questions I really would like some help with if anyone ill ask noe at a time and wait for responses!!! Thankyou for all who respond and share their time and knowledge!!!

So here goes.... 1. Where is our native hot spot located?? When I had the CT-mod 6.8 6.9 and 7.0 I had it and native usb tethering but when I flashed megatron 6.0 it disappeared!! The only way I could access it was from using anycut!! I would do; anycut-shortcut activity-and chose sprint hotspot!! This made a shortcut t it on my desktop!! I can't do this on the megatron rom!! Can I get that back ?? And why is it not here?? I have screen shots in the ctmod thread of what I'm talking about!!!
