btw, I re-created the same problem by entering the ##72786# without pulling the battery and got the same issue. I then powered off, pulled the battery, waited 3 minutes, rebooted, entered ##72786# and everything went right. Apparently the power off, battery pull, and making sure to wait 2-3 minutes makes a difference. I don't know if that is what caused your issue, but I did manage to make it mess up then happen right the next time.

Just to be safe, add power off before pulling the battery to the instructions, and I think the wait time might be important.

Wouldn't a simple update profile fix that??

You have too use the systemui and frameworkres from the rom itself (6.0.4 update) not from the stock theme ,stock theme is been giving us some problems with the power menu...

Actually you can use the framework-res and systemui files from the MegaTron 6.0.4 full install zip and it'll work as well...

Actually, the stock theme will work also, you just have to include the android.policy.jar included in the zip. It should be in the "framework" folder along with the framework-res.apk. I figured the file was important or Chev and mav wouldn't have put it there, but didn't really know what it was for till Chev mentioned it in the Halloween theme thread in regards to someone else having issues with the power menu.

Good to know thx, but just to simplify things using the files from the full 6.0.4 install zip will work perfectly without the use of android.policy.jar...

A perfect example is look at any of my theme zips and you'll see that android.policy.jar isnt in the framework folder yet my power menu displays perfectly cause I used the framework-res and systemui apks from the full install zip of 6.0.4...

So I must be the only one. That sucks. Oh well I'll just do it the old fashioned way. I wonder what would cause this not to work. .

I just tried terminal emulator backup and it worked fine here. Is this an online backup? How do I access it in the future for a restore? Just curious.

I don't believe this is an online backup persay. Just means you don't have to go to cwm to make one. I just checked my cwm folder and the backup I just made was there.

That's correct, hence the name onandroid, that's because it makes a backup in android OS instead of having to reboot to CWM to do it at that point...

EDIT: Just to let you guys know they also have an installable zip file for CWM to use a file manager within CWM, it's made with Aroma, just do a Google Search for Aroma File Manager...

Here's the link to the XDA Post for it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646108

I downloaded the Aromafm-1.80.zip at the bottom of post #2...

Default out of service tone

Anyone know where/what the ogg file is for the tone which plays when the phone has no service? I can't find to setting to disable it (if it even exists) so I figured I'd just rename/delete the ogg file. I go in and out of service where I live while driving and it is getting fairly annoying.

You mind giving a step by step for ADW? That's the launcher I use, but haven't found the setting for turning off the service notification. I know how to do a custom shortcut, but which activity do you choose and what settings do you select? Thanks.

press anywhere on ur homescreen
pick "custom shortcut"
hit "pick your activity"
second from the top, "activities"
hit the expand button next to the phone icon (on my phone its the first option)
scroll down and hit "Roaming (roaming settings)"
hit ok
tap on the phone icon created on your homescreen
uncheck all boxes then exit out

Yeah before 6.0.4 the last full install zip was 6.0.2 just to let you know...

So it goes 6.0.0, 6.0.2, 6.0.4 with OTAs in between...
