Default not receiving mms on latest release

I just realized I'm not getting mms messages. I'm on a boost TU. I Dialed ##3282# and found mmsc url set to use sprint. Does anyone know how to fix? I tried updating the apn. The apn looks correct but dialing ##3282# shows different info.

thanks! This Rom rocks!

I figured out how to edit it. Will test receiving mms tomorrow.

Nice ROM, loving the Sprint version. One thing though... can you implement FLAC support.

I tried to install the stock calendar app from a backup but it wouldn't work for me via just sideloading the old apk. How can I get the original back?

you can't install system apps by just pressing Install.

copy the Calendar.apk from your backup to /system/app and replace the current one.

Hey Blood, when I open MIUI File Explorer, a notification pops up saying that an update is available. Am I safe updating it?

delete telephony.db and telephony.db-journal from /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases and reboot, see if it works then.

I'll try to get a fix out soon so everyone doesn't have to manually change it.

Tried that too but seems not to work, possibly because it is a odex copy. Can anyone help with a deodex copy from 2.3.6 please?

deleted telephony.db but couldn't find telephony.db-journal. Rebooted and no luck. I dialed ##3282# to check settings and when i tried to open mmsc url settings it gave me an fc saying the phone com.android stopped unexpectedly. Everything else seems to work just fine. I cannot send or receive mms now. I can wait for an update unless you have any other ideas. Thanks again. I really do enjoy this rom. Fast, responsive and my battery lasts forever!

Update... I manually recreated the apn rebooted and I'm now sending and receiving mms messages!

Thanks for your help!

Default Updated

Added a MMS fix for Boost Mobile to the first post. Just flash it in CWM and you should be good.

Heres a working stock Calendar that you can flash in CWM too: StockCalendar.zip

Exclamation

So I have been using this rom for quite some time now and I must say it really F'n sweet!!! However I haven't been able to get some of the dialer codes to work!!! Also when I tried to use one of the options on one my phone screen went to a little android guy with an ! And my led light was purple like it was trying to be red and blue at the same time!! Can anyone tell me what happened???? I had to do a battery pull but phone was fine!!!

Also why is the wimax settings so diffucult to look at??? And does anyone know how to do this I keep looking but to no prevail!!! Can someone please provide a list of all the wimax files on the transform ultra??? It would be greatly appriciated!! Also what would happen if they wernt locked?? Or what happens if we use them?? And why can't we access wimax state in the packages.xml files??? Its their it just won't let me edit the value to access it. Cani just copy the file to a computer and edit it??? Then use adb to pull that file and replace the newone with the modifications ?? Would they actually stay??? I'm not sure iff it would mess anything up??

And last where is the sprint native hotspot apk actually located??? I'm posting a screen shot of the short cut I have on my desktop!!! When I push it it takes me to the screen to toadjust the settings (number of people connect, time out length)ect!!! Where is the location of the program??? The only way I can get to it is the shortcut!! Also does the native usb tethering ever work for anyone??? I'm very intrested in learning to do some dev and moding!!! If one of the great devvs here would point me in the right directin and provide me some knowledge and tools it would be greatly appreciated!!! Great rom BLOOD!!!!

This its just a rom and kernel, It doesn't have anything to do with the baseband.

Default Swype

Bloodawn,

First, I want to say that I was pleasantly suprised today to see that you have brought CTMod from Prevail to this nice phone. Really glad I donated in the past for all your great work on this mod.

Not sure if you remember me, but I was the swype guy in the prevail forum as well. With that said, why don't you like swype?!?!?

I downloaded the deleted app zip from your OP and noticed just a "keyboard" apk in there, where is swype? I'd like to reinstall that, even though this phone offers a great physical keyboard, I like my options depending on the situation.

Thanks again Bloodawn

Suprisingly, swype beta is terrible compared to the stock version. Can you please supply the stock in the deleted apps zip?

I see... well thanks anyway! The swype beta was a little more laggy with the extra features when trying it on the prevail, used to drive me nuts, lol. I guess I should give it a shot on the TU since it's a much faster phone.

Zintus - Your welcome to try my way of installing a rom assuring a clean install nine out of ten times.

Install:

•Copy the zip to your SDCard
•Boot into ClockWorkMod
•Make a backup
•Wipe data/Factory reset
•Wipe cache partition
•Select “advanced” and Wipe Dalvik Cache
•Fix Permission
•Install zip from SDCard
•Reboot System

Default Battery Drain

Wondering if anyone noticing their battery losing charge little quicker since the CTmod installation? I have installed it on two TUs so far, and it seems to be happening to both.

To Bloodawn, the system updates process and service have been running in the background on both phones, is there any way to disable that permanently? I'm thinking that could be draining some of the battery.

(BTW Swype BETA rocks on this phone compared to the prevail, so happy lol )

It seems that when using this ROM, my battery drains faster than a drunk drinking a pint of liquor.

In other words, the battery is dying a lot faster than my previous ROM. When I say that, I mean it is VERY noticeable.

Normally, when charged @ 100% on the charger, it'll stay at 100%. However, on this ROM, I've had it charged all night and just woke up. Checked out the phone and to my surprise, it kept changing between "100%" (Which I could not visually see, I am guessing because of the margin of the number) and 99% over and over. When I make a call that lasts roughly 5 minutes, the battery drops around 4%. It's insane...

I truly love this ROM but I cannot have my battery dying on me if I make a few calls out of the day.

How would I go about doing that?

Now there's a new issue. com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. This occurred randomly. I have no apps installed except the ones that came with the ROM. Note: I am using Boost.

EDIT: It seems to now be occurring whenever I end a call that I made and that call is NOT logged into my call log.

Yes, set dns will do that everytime it makes a new connection so if you are using it and you're on 3g it will flash CONSTANTLY.

but it dose not do it on my tweaked out star rom at all. but i am running a old version i never updated on that one. and the version i installed on ct-mod was fresh from the market so it may just be the newer versions that do it idk. well getting off topic. so thanks blood for the ROM

You can get rom toolbox which has a battery stat wipe. Or charge all the way to 100% then go to data/system/battery.bin then delete battery.bin then drain battery to 0 then charge to 100 should work for battery

Still having battery problems on both phones since installing CTMod, it drains way faster than before, i wiped battery stats on both after full charges and drained to 0, still doesn't help. Anyone else also having this problem?

System update process is also running in the background, kill it comes back, is there a way to permanently turn that off without causing issues?
