The Rush kernel is 3.0.8, not even close to your Ultra 2.6.35.7. It would need some major work and even with all the work there's a very big chance that it won't work.
There you go, even though it will need major work and brick many phones and just it might not even boot at all, its all we got and thats the best there is for our phone.
It was a nice thought. If it was easy, it wouldn't be fun.

cm7 is in the works. but dont expect it anytime soon.
it sucks we can't have the Abilities of 4.0+ but that'll happen someday.
For now let's just focus on MegaTron 6.0.+
i'm sure over time Chev and mav will implement several features CM7 has and maybe some extra different things, 6.0.4 will have a dozen new nik-naks when it comes out, and we at-least know it works lol.
hey im from the samsung conquer forums and it looks like you guys have cm7 already its just buggy. androidforums.com/transform-ultra-all-things-root/533437-cm7-samsung-transform-ultra-developers-testers-only.html i have to say thanks to whoever githubbed the device tree for this phone cause it got me started on cm7 and now my phone is running it.
I bricked my Boost Ultra trying to build an ICS kernel for the Ultra. 1 brick was enough for me. If Bob says it's hard to do, you can be certain that it is hard to do. I might even say impossible but there is 1 guy I know that could do it: https://github.com/tom3q
I got some tips from him when attempting to build an ICS kernel but my kernel making skills in this area are infantile compared to his. Our only shot would be Bob but I think that possibility is slim to none.
