Default Root achieved!

Root has been achieved on the Triumph using Gingerbreak. Now for developers to get their hands on the phone...

Being new to Androids (Optimus V in March) the locked boot loader (and being unsure if that would prevent rooting) is what has held me back from getting one already. Hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday I will be getting mine.

Yes it was. As a matter of fact it was the very first post in here, but it was moved from the general forum here when they created it. The second thread was the one about the annoying VM boot/shutdown sounds...

I think he meant that HIS thread wasn't in the root subforum originally - i.e. he didn't see my gingerbreak thread before he posted his in the general forum.
