i was in a race with you to claim the first post for changelog info lol
I thought about taking it too! I was like naah better give it a few seconds. Trying it out now. Will post a review later tonight after I use it for awhile.

Reason: screenshots show its froyo
Thunder.prop is not working for this one either.
Don't know if its ment to be this way but when downloading from market the download bar looks odd. Sort of just lines running across.
I love the digital battery mod.
Love the lock screen n keyboard.
Found nothing else yet except the thunder prop not working and possibly the download bar
All the animations are nice and smooth. Battery seems to be dieing rather fast though.

Tacky, no offense, just personal opinion. I don't see the point in flashing roms with different themes, you can flash CM7 or Miui and find hundreds of themes that look similar to this.

Its ok, I see your point thought. But these roms are made for the users who want to use stock based roms, and want working HDMI, good gaming, and reliability.

I disagree. For those of us who stick with Froyo roms mainly because we use the HDMI feature almost daily, it is nice to have a choice between roms. Also there were many "aftermarket" features added to this rom as well as the Froyocream sandwich rom that make it more optimized than stock froyo.

Agreed cm7 and miui don't perform as well in certain conditions I.e. gaming, HDMI, Bluetooth n wifi

Agreed!! As much as I love CM7 and its native tethering, I've been looking for new and recently updated stock based ROMs!! Mainly for the working hdmi and no deep sleep wifi problems. I am so thankful for you guys.. really, I am!
SO excited to see the other new stuff I've heard mentioned....

Hey, honestly I don't think that I would choose this over froyocream myself but I 'm definitely not going to go on here and say its tacky. As far as I'm concerned these guys spend their own time making these roms and put them on here for everyone else for free. I have a ton of respect for them for doing that. I don't see how saying its tacky and stating what we all know is true about CM7 or MIUI does anything beneficial to anyone. Now I'm not trying to start a flame war but I do feel that I should put in my two cents and say THANKS to these guys for putting up new content whether I, you, or anyone else likes it,dislikes it, uses it or doesn't.

- I saw the weird loading animation too when downloading an app from the market.
- I noticed when I updated the Google Search app the "Red Remix" themed widget was changed to the new Google version.
- The red separator lines between the items on the menu looks a bit off. Maybe take that off or make it a different color.
- Digital battery icon was cool but kinda big.
- Loved the keyboard! It felt great and I could text really quick without errors or lag.
- When restoring a nandroid of Froyocream, the red splash screen and power off animation stayed. I had to re-flash the .zip to get rid of it.
Overall, it's a sweet rom although I did flash back to Froyocream today. I think the blue is a little easier on the eyes than bright red. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do!

ok thankyou for pointing that out to us. we will be sure to fix that asap
i just forgot to update that app before i themed it... oh and as for the shut down animation, thats in the /hidden folder. which nandroid backups dont touch.

Hey saying its tacky then putting no offense after its is kinda like slapping someone and saying you didn't mean it. If you think its tacky keep it to your self.
I don't know if you know this but us developers work on stuff for personal satisfaction and we do it in our free time. Plus you offered no constructive criticism either. I can't speak for all deb's but the reason why I make and flash themes is because while cm7 is a very nice operating system, its to buggy and stuff don't work(not saying the stock rom isn't without its bugs) and I have yet to find a theme for it that fits my personal style, so I make a rom that suits me and I release it and if people like it then that's aesome, of not then oh well I still like it. Bit there is no need to tell someone there hard work is tacky! That's just rude!

True! Personally I don't use anything other than cm7/ cm7 ports, well until we get a functional cm9 port anyways... But anyways I don't like stock or Miui that's my opinion... People who complain just to complain no offense, but you should seriously think about what you post, I'll admit I'm not perfect and have made post (not necessarily on just this forum, but others as well) that I'm not to proud of :/. You can stick to what you like instead of picking on someone else work they did to please themselves and went so far as to share it with other people in the public community. They could have kept it to themselves. I know that you have been getting a lot of comments on this already but you really should take them into consideration... I don't go around hating on everyone's work just because I don't like using another rom. Plus on stock its harder to use themes without editing your framework-res.apk yourself (which not everyone can do), or using a different launcher which can be slower. And I've seen people who complain on other threads about stuff that is mentioned in the post that has the download link. If you don't like a feature of a rom you can suggest something. How would you feel if you made something that you worked hard on and one person basically told you it was crap? Its human nature to get knocked down by just one remark and not everyone is strong enough to get back up from that even if they have support.
P.S. sorry for the long post... But it was on my mind and it had to be said.
cool flashed it last night, played with it today very cool looking. i do like the froyo cream better though flashed back tonite i agree the blue is a lil easier on the eyes! love the battery display though. although i have to agree that it ate battery life but then again i was just re-downloading instead of using titanium back up, that probably had a lot to do with it. and as far as tacky well.
tack·y/ˈtakē/
Adjective:
(of glue, paint, etc.) Retaining a slightly sticky feel; not fully dry.
Showing poor taste and quality: "his tacky decor".
i have to say that some of the comments here where indeed "tacky"
and i do love the ability to customize cm7 but i have reverted back to froyo after the release of the froyo cream, more stuff works and the only thing i really miss is the pull down widget power controls and the power menu battery mod over at XDA took care of that so thanks for all the hard, frustrating, and thankless work that you guys do to make out triumph live up to its name
yea i know! guess what... megaupload.com got shutdown today by federal officials!!! thats where we were hosting the rom! Damnit! i hate that anti-piracy crap!
but anyways, do any of you guys have this rom on your sdcard? if you do please mirror it on mediafire.com or minus.com until we can host it ourselves. it will be much appreciated.
sorry guys feds took my favorite upload site down i'll send the zip to ziggy so he can put it up for you guys
Ziggy does this mean megavideo too??????????
I'm pretty sure megavideo is part of megaupload so probably...

this makes it harder to watch my anime and some of them only exsisted on megavideo anyways a temporary link is up for the rom until ziggy uploads it
EDIT: i do have netflix :P but they don't have as much anime as you would think

Cool! So that mod DOES work with these stock based roms? I suppose I could have tried it myself to figure that out. I assumed it was only for plain deodexed roms and not themed ones. The notification power toggle has been the major thing keeping me from stock based roms.
The main thing that brings me back to stock on occasion is the fact that wifi works and doesn't prevent deep sleep like in CM7 and other gingerbread based roms.
I just may have to try this... I will miss the native tethering though, but I would love to have the stability and reliability of stock back in my life
I actually tried a new rom called black lightning or something like that from xda and tried doing the powerwidget mod and when I rebooted It looked stock again with the powerwidget mod. I dont know if the status bar will stay themed after the mod. I am pretty much on the same page with you with what your're trying to do with your phone. I too am trying to make my way back to stock.
I'm just wondering, but would you be able to port cm6 to this phone to have a stock 2.2 feel as well as cm settings? (granted cm6 has a lot less settings than cm7, but its an idea...)

Hmm.. I've never thought about that possibility. But since on this phone stock has proven to be much more reliable (at least in the areas of wifi) that might not actually be a "downgrade" from cm7 in that respect.
Either way, I'm going to try this ROM tonight or in the morning. I've made up my mind It looks great and I'm SO glad developers are working on stock based ROMS for this phone again. I can live without the notification power toggles in exchange for fully functioning wifi and bluetooth I realized this week how much I depend on both wifi and bluetooth for my job. I work in radio and we use bluetooth technology for live remotes... which utilizes our phones. It would be nice to be able to leave both wifi and bluetooth on without the significant stand-by battery drain.
With this ROM, I can revert to stock AND have a good looking phone
Thank you!

I might try just to see if I can which I might not... Also I think that all the cm6 roms were for mdpi devices I could be wrong though... I personally like using cm7, and I don't have any bluetooth device I need to pair it with, but there are quite a few people who like stock 2.2 because of things like that... I'll look into it, but no guarantees...
Edit: So I found out that there was cm6 for the incredible which has close to the same specs as the Triumph and is hdpi, and the Evo 4g (another hdpi device), I'll try and get a bootable cm6 or if someone else wants to help you can PM me or google voice me or whatever!

So are you saying the mod worked without changing the look of the themed status bar? What happened exactly when you flashed the MOD over it? What changed, if anything..

yeah it did change the bar back to the greyish white. dont want to hijack this thread so check your pm
So the ThunderProp is or isn't working? I'm wanting to flash this later in the afternoon
Its does NOT work
Unless you flash the rom
Then flash stock kernel
Flash broms normal build.prop
Then flash broms thunder. Prop
Then reflash his kernel.
This is how I got it to work
Its a pain but works

Okay thanks!! I'll try that! Would that work on FroyoCream as well?

In case you guys don't know, there's an app called Widgetsoid in the Market that allows you to setup a notification power widget. Froyo doesn't allow you to directly toggle options in the notification bar, but what it does is you click on the widget then a widget pops up which you can then toggle. Not QUITE the same functionality as CM7, but PRETTY close.
