Thanks for understanding
To answer your question you will need the original boot animation(zip file)
Use a root file broswer(root explorer)
Place it in system/media
If i am incorrect please feel free to correct me as i dont own this device
Hope this helps

it depends on weather or not he is stock or not. If stock, it's under /hidden/boot animation or whatever. If he's not stock, it should be under/system/media/bootanimation.zip. And under gingerbread you can also use /date/local/bootanimation.zip
Post back if you still need help.

yea inside of audio file it says alarms notifications ringtones ui..
did it delete my stock start up or do i still have it?
Well the boot animation should be outside of the audio folder so it seems its not there the app must have deleted it and.placed the new one in a different location or the boot animation is already in a different location
i found it it was under hidden/data/ power-on animation. but which one is it. the virgin mobile one or the one i added using boot animations
Edit: if i dont it making sound when i boot up my phone can i delete the file in side of /hidden/data/power-on-sound... when i play the sound its the default start up sound... and if i delete it will it mess up my phone.. like brick it

If they are both there remove the one that isn't virgin thatll restore your stock animation
there is only 1 there and i dont know which one it is and if i dont want it making sound when i boot up my phone can i delete the file in side of /hidden/data/power-on-sound... when i play the sound its the default start up sound... and if i delete it will it mess up my phone.. like brick it or does there have to be a sound to make my phone start up correctly

For some reason the stock ROM won't boot without the boot sound. What you can do is replace the boot sound with an mp3 that is silent, it just needs to be named the same. What I did was renamed the old one so it will there of I wanted to revert back to it and took a song i like and copied it while changing the name.
