Have you guys tried getting the source from the HTC Evo V to maybe get some ideas from that?
I know I've tried. The processor is the same, but a lot of the other hardware is different. I still haven't figured out how to snag the CPU scaling. It's real different, and I don't know if it's even better or not.
I guess when we get back to it we'll (g60 mostly) look into it. Have you tried it yourself?
I have on my optimus v when Cm10 first came out for it, it had no 3go so I plugged in a bunch of lib files to see which ones worked and I found these files to fix the 3g, but the 3g was spotty.

g60! Long time user, first time caller. My wife and I have CM720120923 installed on our (new warranty replaced) Triumphs (fyi) and for that and for your perseverance, I wish to thank you... Although I know nothing says thanks quite like sacks of cash.

Great news, rukin5197!
I have successfully unbricked and achieved root access on my Samsung Galaxy S2 this evening and I will be sending your Motorola Triumph out tomorrow. I hope that this will speed up development for this ROM. I will PM you the USPS tracking number tomorrow afternoon.

Will you be able to fix the camera on cm10? Or is there as about as good chance as cm9?
It's the same issue with 9 as in 10. If I could have solved 9 it's very possible to port the settings over to 10. As it stands I am not developing any more so the rest of Team MTDEV will continue forward taking the Triumph where no Triumph has been before.
just want to say thank you g60madman for all your work...i thought i bought an paperweight..cannot tell you how many times i called vm and bitching till blue in face for updates and an fix to this phone..then i loaded 7 and i thought i had an new phone...when i got brave an loaded 9 i said this is what this phone should be..fast fast fast..but due to grand kids and the camera i went back to 7..thank you for all your hours of hard work you put in.. good luck on your new path that you choose to go down.

Do i need to partition for this to work. I just got a used phone and its 2.2 and im rooted and cwm but got all the way to your homescreen but very flash back in forth through screens is this normal. Does it work itself out? I wiped/data and formatted cache and dalvik. Just following guide to flashing a rom on this phone. Or am i doing this all wrong?
Im just using it for wifi i hope after my battery is done charging
Just keep in mind that this ROM is Alpha. It's on the bottolm of my personal list. CM9 is way higher than this one. I personally think that CM10 will be kind of heavy for our 512MB of RAM and may never have the full functionality that I would want.
Just got a nice new computer for Christmas, upgrading from a pentium 4 (lol I know, about time) to an AMD quad core (I might buy me an 8 core if the quad takes too long to compile as it will fit in my mainboard), and am currently learning to write code in java. I would love to help on this ROM, but I am totally new to this whole development deal and don't think I could do much. I will gladly test new releases, including 3g and messages/calling as my Triumph is still activated. I want to help in any way I can. Let me know, guys!

See my thread on how to set up your system. I am helping another guy who wants to learn also. I hope we can build a team and stumble on a couple of fixes for our phones.
Who, little old me? I might. It depends on where I can get CM9 working like I want. Most of that will translate. Until then, Bsidz and Rukin have been working on threi own stuff and the CyanogenMod team have been doing a ton of work to it too. If I do get to work on this, then I will probaply freeze the code before I get started. I don't want the fiasco we had with CM7 where the outside code would trach the ROM and make a ton of work on the DEV's (now me, who knew?) end.

I see.I would help but I have NO knowledge of C++ and very little time to do anything. All I'm good for is test dummie lol.I have seen Bsidz PA ROM and I love it.I liked the PA port that was out before he made his own.The JB one he has is amazing!Only minus is no headphones or 3G outside that it works amazing. As for Rukin I havent seen him put out anything yet.But I know he is working on alot of other things anyways.

Oh, Rukin has been working with BSidz. I know he has been playing with JB for quite a while now.
Hey is there anyway to apply the newest upgrades (camera working) from CM9 and get CM10 rolling? Im sure I could get moving if someone was able to show me where to get started.

I can get you started. The fixes would still be hard to do, though. You can have at it. I know bSydz and Rukin have made some headway, but it has been a tough road.
bSydz and Rukin, can you guys post your most recent work on CM10? How does one go from a cyanogenmod Rom and format it to even be able to run on our phones? If its easy enough perhaps we should grab the latest 10.1 and run from that. What do i need to do to be able to run 10.1 on my phone? Is there a compatible phone on CM that is similar enough to ours?

you need to port over the code to work for cm10.1. Right now, I have everything building for 10.1, but it needs some kernel work done. It has a flashing black screen on bootup that I can't get a logcat for. So as of right now, it's not in a usable state. Might need more time, or might not even come to the triumph in its lifetime. Who knows
