I'm going to agree with everybody saying all reality tv shows with the ONE exception of The Ultimate Fighter. I'm a huge UFC fan and watching these nobodies come through the house, train and make something of themselves afterwards just does something for me.
Now on to the crap of the crap.
My Name is Earl.
The Cleveland Show.
American Dad.
King of the Hill.
All shows I was convinced weren't going to make it past the first season. Who watches this crap?
IDGAF about many of the other 'animation' shows out there, and prefer my animation to come from Adult Swim or online.
Worst shows? Hell, pick a reality show and you've got a candidate. All reality shows suck. But, buy far?
Anything kardashian related
Anything made by MTV (well, maybe except punk'd)
Anything housewife, rehab, single people, survivor / brother, dancing, singing, real jobs, dirty jobs, working for Donald Trump, tasting the flavor of Love, or anything like these related. I'll give Rowe a small pass, though, b/c it is (somewhat) educational.
I have to agree with reality TV. Most is terrible.
One thing that recently became terrible imo are game shows. Used to rly like them but the "new" type shows are just plain annoying. They take FOREVER to do anything. Likely started with Howie Mandel making everything so suspenseful for an hr to open one frikkin case.
Was watching this million dollar game show that is new to Fox where they ask 7 questions and take an hr to do it.
I honestly don't need dramatic game shows. Get to the point already.
The last thing I watched on an actual television was Barack Obama's inauguration. I flipped through local channels one night, and every single station had some sort of reality TV show. Awful. I never even bothered to get a digital converter, because there is absolutely nothing I'd want to watch that I can't watch online (which is basically two shows, and one of them's not even available in this country).
Someone mentioned King of the Hill before, though. I have to admit that if I'm at someone's house and it's on, I watch it. Not so much because I like it, but because I swear to dogs, Hank Hill was modeled after my dad.

I knew a guy in the military that talked exactly look Boomhauer or however you spell it. Kinda funny to see/hear but doesn't change how terrible the show is.

While I agree with most every bad show listed here I want to add one that I feel belongs on top of the list.
I call the show "Rednecks building Bikes" aka American Chopper! This train wreck of a reality show used to be amusing but not any more. Now the quality of the show is on par with the quality of the bikes they build... and that doesn't say much!

I saw a show on Comedy Central the other night called "SportsDome"... it was a Sports Center spoof...it was horrible. I don't know who they got to write this stuff, but not one thing they did was funny. Hope it gets canceled quick.

I had such high hopes for an Onion TV show. But I agree, absolutely terrible.
The best, and suprisingly worst show on television is Jersey Shore. It's so bad, me and my friends can't help but watch it. Pretty much anything on MTV rots your brain nowadays ll
I am from New jersey(jersey shore)
and i can't stand the show...
it annoys me how on facebook, every thursday i see tons of "OMG, JERSEY SHORE IS ON"
statuses
lol the guys are not cute, the girls are not that pretty to me(Although i do like sammi...she reminds me of myself...only, you know i dont sleep around haha) and
its just a show to watch Italians further perpetuate stereotypes(im half italian) and hookup with a bunch of ppl lol
I also hate American idol(after they get thru the auditions...its not fun anymore once you have ppl who can sing)
I hate The bachelor/Bachelorette
I like Big Brother though...and I love the real world...its not as annoying as jersey shore

I pretty much agree completely with this statement. Jersey Shore represents everything that is wrong with television and our society in general - and it's f*cking mesmerizing. Only show I really look forward to watching.

Definitely true about the real world

MTV just seems to be like my "when I'm bored" channel now. Keep watching that, true life, and 16 and pregnant lol.
• Bully beatdown is on mtv
• The ultimate fighter is reality
But maybe we have no mma fans here, am I alone?
MMA pretty much lost me a few years ago...too many generic no-name fightcards, everyone's style is homogenized... I was into Pride back in the day when I lived in Japan and their fighters were just next level compared to the UFC. Never really got back into it. I will watch every now and then when there's a hyped up fight but they're still usually not that interesting.
This thread makes me wonder why I pay for Cable. The only show I watch on Television is Doctor Who, and I usually watch that via Amazon's VOD service, since I drive to work when they broadcast it here on BBC America. I did watch the last season of LOST after watching the other seasons on HULU and NetFlix... but that didn't turn out so well in the end.
How do you make a list of the worst TV shows when you don't really watch TV? I've never seen "Jersey Shore," "John and Kate," or even "American Idol" or "America's Got Talent." I don't really watch television shows until they're long, long off the air. This fall, I finally got around to watching Futurama, thanks again to Netflix.
I guess if I had to pick a show that I've actually seen, it would be "Sean Hannity." Glenn Beck may be a tard, but he's an entertaining tard. Hannity provides no entertainment value at all.
Apparently the American remake of Skins on MTV is horrible(When compared to the British Original Version) by alot of ppl but i loved it and can't wait to see more skins
Actually...I might have to take back what i said about Jersey shore.
it is stupid and give jersey & italians a bad rep
but I am actually starting to get into it now haha
American Top Gear. A desk jocky, actor, and a no talent car driver with plenty of failed shows under his belt. That sound like your kind of car show.
If that wasn't enough, they did a tough truck episode to see what the best truck is. They should have called the test "finding the least-worst driver on the show."
I watch all the animated stuff on Fox Sunday nights and they all crack me up, but then something terible happened. Bob's Burgers. It sucks suck sucks to infinity. Won't last long hopefully.

Not that i think there's anything wrong with them but i just can't get into any 30min shows at all. After commercials your talking 22min of show. For me thats not near enough time to get invested in something. But thats just me
Toddlers in Tiaras makes me violent. I want to punch the parents in their faces for putting their children through the things that they do. And to cover it on TLC just enables these terrible excuses for parents. Beauty pageants do NOT make you grow up to be a confident young lady-- it's in fact, quite the opposite.
Oh and Glenn Beck's show. This is a prime example of what happens when you mix stupid short-sightedness and popularity. Glenn Beck should be dropped into a deep, dark hole and be forgotten about.
It's at the point now where all I watch is History channel, Discovery channel and National Geographic channel. Everything else is the worst TV show ever.
For some reason I can't embrace the new Conan. Liked the old Conan much better. Maybe I need to give it another chance.
Letterman: let's his liberal side show too much nowadays.
Leno: Pervert. Ever watch him ogle his female guests? Away from the show I like him. I like his car enthusiasm for sure though.
There will never be another Carson. The guy had class yet wasn't afraid to laugh at stuff that was 'on the edge'.

American Idol. Nuff said. I can play my trumpet better than most of those contestants could sing. The only good to come from American Idol is Kelly Clarkson. Nuff said on that too.
