I agree. I only saw the first movie cause a friend raved about how amazing it was and watching that movie actually made me mad it was so bad lol.
The only bella that should be allowed in a vampire movie is Bela Lugosi

Saw Les Mis on opening night, Christmas.
Was good, and Ann Hathaway was amazing, but just didn't wow me (like the musical did).
No interest in Life of Pi.
Honestly, Silver Linings Playbook has been the best of the bunch of Oscar potential wins I've seen so far.

Avatar. Great visuals, granted, but for me that doesn't compensate for cardboard cutout "characters" and a cliche-storm of anvilicious "humans are horrible" "plot".
Or Cameron's use of "Unobtanium." That is an old term I would often hear applied to vintage car parts. "Why is this set of heads so expensive?" "Well, they are made of Unobtanium."
I would have to say ALL Star Trek and Star Wars movies. Poor acting and the directors had better get a refund from film school.
On the other hand, All Technicolor IB movies are glorious.

I tried to like the Superman series (tv and the movie with sequels), but I kept guessing it was just Clark Kent with his glasses off and a circus costume of some sort.
They worked with him every day at the newspaper, and Lois Lane was in love with Superman, but nodody could recognise Clark Kent with his glasses off and a spit curl? I always thought that was idiotic.

Captain Nice was much more believable. And Mr. Terrific had me riveted to the edge of my seat.
Ah, you just reminded me... Blair Witch Project. That was hyped so much and it wasn't that great.
I agree completely. Aside from the nausea-inducing camera work (and I'm not normally prone to motion sickness!), the "characters" were so stupid and obnoxious I was hoping the witch would come shut them up.
I didn't mind it when it first came out in the 70s (apart from ships in space making noise - WTF?), but I tried to watch it again in the 90s and it was suffocatingly dull - pretty much unwatchable.

I liked/enjoyed it more than I thought I would. And there will be a sequel. I dont
know how they will manage that without it really blowing...

Not actually trolling: I do genuinely think that.

in order to be considered 'overrated' a movie first has to garner some respect. Wrath and Clash didn't garner jack squat in terms of respect.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say XMen First Class
I'm a huge comic book and movie fan. Fan of XMen movies. I'm even a fan of First Class, but I really think it's not as good as some people say. I like the basic outline of the plot, I like most of the central performances.
What really pissed me off was some of the dialogue and the 'insert comedy relief here' lines were just awful. Another thing that REALLY erked me was the special effects in some scenes. I thought Banshee, Dragonfly-girl, and Beast were the worst looking comic characters ever brought to real life. Banshee and Dragonfly-girl effects were awful, flying looked fake and Banshee's screaming effect was dumb.
I liked the darker parts of the story, and magneto's bar scene with the knife work is amazing, but there were quite a few let downs for a movie that's at 90% or higher on rottentomatoes.
