Default What are your favorite SNL (saturday night live) skits?

A few of My favorites:
"Colonel Angus"

"Dick in a box"

Can't remember the name but it was with Dana Carvey, Jon Lovitz. Group of theives sitting around discussing a bank robbery and they keep asking the same questions over and over, just slightly reworded.

And of course "Schweddy Balls" with Alec Baldwin.

"Van down by the river" - Chris Farley

The skits where Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake are talk show hosts as 2 of the Bee Gees.

I also like "what's up with that"? With Keenan.

My favorite part is usually the Weekend Update. Seth Meyers is pretty good, but I liked when they had Tina Fey and Amy Pohler anchoring it.

S: It looks like this is my lucky day! I'll take "The Rapists" for $200.

T: That's "therapists", not "the rapists".

S: Well, well, well, Trebek, fancy seeing you again. It's been a while.

T: Not long enough.

S: That's not what your mother said last night.

Always makes me laugh!

If you're looking to get festive with your family, I've got the perfect place for you. New York's hottest club is Heyyyyyy! Built from the bucket list of a dying pervert, this Battery Park bitch parade is now managed by overweight game show host Fat Sajak. This place has everything: tweakers, skeevies, Spud Webb, a child, and a Russian guy who runs on the treadmill in a Cosby sweater. So come on down this weekend — the bouncer is a bulldog who looks like Wilford Brimley and the password is "diabeetus."

One of my favorites is the one where Amy Pohler is pregnant in a bar and Josh Brolin is hitting on her. All of the men have mullets and Greg Allman's I'm No Angel is playing in the background.

To be fair, Jimmy Fallon cracked himself up in every skit he was in. I was so glad when he left the show. He is way too pleased with himself.

If you're not familiar with the various audition videos, here's one for him.

Been a while since I've watched, let's play it safe and say

NSFW

He will forever be one of my favorites.

I'll take frequency 3!

That's great! A really nice VHS transfer too. I wish mine looked that good.

It's a real shame that he was killed in his prime.

I like the old ones.

Land Shark
Church Lady
Most of the ones with Gilda Radner's recurring characters: Roseanne Rosannadanna, Lisa Loopner, and Emily Litella
The Blues Brothers
The "cheeseburger" joint run by the Greek guys
Steve Martin and Dan Akroyd's wild and crazy guys
Weekend Update
John Belushi as the Samurai
Mr. Bill
Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy

Chris Farley's skit where they secretly switch his coffee in a commercial spoof and he goes nuts. Chris was and always will be the BEST

Also, the Van down by the river skit he did.

That's probably not the title, but it was awesome.

Not really a skit, but does anyone remember Deep Thoughts?
Those were pretty funny.
This was a good newer one I enjoyed.

I remember those. I liked the old Don Pardo voiceovers as they went to commercial, the one I still remember -

Saturday Night Live is brought to you by chemicals - remember, without chemicals, nothing would exist!
