HI crystal2829, have a look here:(during calendar refresh) process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly - xda-developers
Apparently it's not an uncommon problem. Neil.

You flashed your ROM? Did you do a back up of the OE before flashing?
If not, you may have a real problem. Neil.

Hi crystal2829, this info is the suggested procedure to follow when doing Flash/Root of your Android:

Procedure
  1. Go to Google Play store from your phone, preferably via the official Android app.
  2. Download and install the ROM Manager application.
  3. For the next step make sure you have at least 200 Mb of free space on your sd card.
  4. Make sure you have an active data connection. Click Flash ClockworkMod Recoveryand choose your device model. In this case, Huawei U8150 IDEOS. (Many people have been telling me that their phone’s make and model is not being detected properly. Use the most recent version of the ROM Manager application and this won’t be an issue. I have always been using the very latest version of ROM Manager and I have never had my device missing from the dropdown list. As of the time of the publication of this blog, the latest version of the app is v5.0.0.6). Once your device has been correctly detected and you have selected it from the dropdown list, wait while your device is flashed.

Click 'Flash ClockworkMod Recovery' and ensure you have an active data connection
  1. Once you have flashed your device, you should backup your current ROM (commonly referred to as a nandroid backup) just in case things don’t work and you are forced to revert to your older ROM. There is a Manage and Restore Backupsoption on the app menu. Click it and backup all your essential stuff on your sd card. Just like shown below. I highly recommend you do a backup. If you are experienced in doing this, like me, you can ignore. I always skip this step and just flash a new ROM; however it is almost a must for any newbie to this process.

Do a nandroid backup just incase things go horribly wrong
  1. What you have backed up is your entire ROM, the one you are currently using, the stock ROM. To backup all your apps and their specific data please download and install the Titanium Backup app. This app is for root users only so install this app once you root your device. It will help you backup everything to your sd card so that you can restore your apps and their relevant data e.g Facebook login credentials, contact and many others.
  2. After successful flashing and backing up of your device’s data, you will then need to enter your phone into recovery mode. This can be done in two ways: 1) By using the Reboot into Recovery option in the ROM Manager app or 2)Switching off your phone then pressing the power-on button, the volume up button and the call answer up button (the green button) as illustrated below.
  3. There are obviously occasions when things go wrong and ALL the writeups I have seen, advise BACKUP FIRST! Even if you don't want/like it, your only course will be to start over again. Cheers Neil.

If you follow this procedure you should get back to normal:
2.1 Forced Upgrade
The forced upgrade method is as follows:
Note: After the forced upgrade, all user data(contacts, text messages, and multimedia messages) will be lost.
1. Go to Support - Huawei Device Co., Ltd.. and search for the latest U8150 version, download it to the local drive, and uncompress it to extract the upgrade file.
2. In the SD card root directory, create a new folder named dload. Take the extracted upgrade file, UPDATE.APP, and copy it to the dloadfolder.
3. Insert the SD card into the mobile phone.
4. When the mobile phone is powered off, press the Volume +, End, and Power keys at the same time to initiate the forced upgrade.
5. After the upgrade is complete, restart the phone, and continue to use as before.
This is from the FAQ's Manual.
You require the Software Download from Huawei labelled:
(U8150V100R001C127B818SPO5) When you Download to your comp, Open it as instructed above.
I have a MicroSD card adapter which enables me to connect by USB. You take your MicroSD card and insert in the adapter - then plug into your comp. It's recognized as Removeable Disc X (X being an Alpha assigned to it) Mine shows as F.
This Download is 93MB.
Best of Luck. Neil.

I can email the File if you wish to leave your email address. You will have to follow the instructions and load your SD card from your comp. If you have any Apps you want to keep, sync to your comp or SD card before doing the Forced Upgrade. Neil.

Sorry I haven't been back earlier - had heaps of other problems.
Just so that we are on the same wave link, the following list is what will be on the U8150 Menu:
The list of Apps normally on screen when the Menu Is activated are:
Browser
Calculator
Calendar
Camera
Clock
Contacts
Documents
Email
Facebook
FM Radio
Gallery
G Mail
Google
Latitude
Maps
Market
Messaging
Music
Navigation
News & Weather
Note Pad
Phone
Places
Settings
(Talk) G-talk. This is what you will need for re-instatement.

Twitter
Voice Search
You Tube

As I understand it, the "Forced Upgrade" will restore your original software.
This is probably why you can't find gtalkservice.odex. as a separate entity.
I will try and send you the d/load asap. Cheers Neil.
