We tested it A LOT before releasing it.

A note on themes.
I have only had the chance to test the 928droid theme with metamorph provided by vmanisme in a previous post. The theme applies fully and looks great in conjunction with the other modifications to this rom.
If anyone wants to go about testing other themes with this rom please help the community and let us know so we can get full customization out of this bleeding edge release
Out of the gate this ROM is fast. I did run into a problem though, I can't update google maps from the market. I keep gettin "installation unsuccessful."
Not sure what is going on but when I try to view the wallpapers all I can see is the grass one, all the others are blank and cause Android Home to stop unexpectedly.

Trident, is this a possible "fix permissions" issue? I can try it on my test phone. Give me a few. I have seen this with a few of my Moto Droids during ROM testing....
This was really hard to build without actually having an Ally. I get mine tomorrow so I'll be able to do a lot of the simple bug smashing before releasing from now on.

I'm having this issue also, but have installed launcherpro to help stop android home force closes. Also my battery icon at the top is reading 60 but in settings its 70.
I ran the SuperUser Permissions and ROM Manager is listed in the apps list as to allow it. Is this the SU you are talking about? I can tell it to forget its settings and it pops up when i first try to fix the permissions and ask and i allow it yet it still gives error.

The battery goes down in intervals eg. 100 80 60 50 40.... and so on it as of yet doesn't display in real time

I think there may be an issue with ROM Manager. We're looking into it.
Awesome ROM, but may we get a black notification bar, there's a post with a theme that has it maybe you guys can pull it from that theme, just a suggestion, but great work! +1
Also is there any change at all that this or any future updates to the ROM can fix the 50% bug, some LG Ally's dont have it maybe you guys can pull the image from a working one?

Google universal androot. Its insanely simple and takes less than 30 seconds to root with a single click of a buttton. After that download rom manager from the market and tridents rom is listed.
Edit: restart fixed downloaded apps in app launcher.
Edit2: just noticed that when on my home screen holding my phone landscape doesn't change the orientation. Only opening the keyboard makes it go landscape.

That's a really easy fix. I'll release another update within the next few days.
Ya I had the same issue on my rom. If you resigneed the apk files then it no longer matches up with what is in the android market. So it won't install. It is an easy fix .
What i meant with the buttom not changing where its pointing is when u open the phone it changes to up instead of pointing to the left like the drawer would open.

Well, I just compiled a beta version of Velocity 0.1.1 that completely repairs busybox and superuser permissions. The market issue has also been fixed. All that's left to do now is to fix the wallpaper issue..
Look for a release of Velocity 0.1.1 sometime tomorrow.

Oh i guess ur only way out is to download with rom manager so its on ur sd card and then try gtin into recovery and flash it. Or wait for usb cable would prob be easier
