-Android Stock Theme
Don't like the new Velocity theme? Flash this just like you would flash a kernel. Do not apply over anything other than Velocity stock theme! Download
-Baseband Version VS740MVB.5210.1015: (new radio.img)
Flash this just like a kernel. You must reboot into recovery once more after installing to wipe your cache. *Only flash once! I cannot be held liable for any damage caused to your device by flashing this! Download
Thank you so much, download just finished and will be flashing.
Does the Apps2SD feature require a class 6 SDcard? I think the one included with the phone is a class 4 and I read somewhere that it requires a class 6.
If I format my SDcard to ext3, Windows will no longer recognize it, correct?

It's best to have a class 6, but it will work with lower class cards as well.

I did notice one thing just now. With the flashlight app if you close it by clicking home the front LED will still blink but if you exit it with the back button it will stop blinking.
Device(s): Galaxy Nexus (CM10 Nightlies) and too many old devices to list

IF YOU FLASHED THE VELOCITY 3 AND THE GNM TURBO 4 KERNEL AND THINGS ARE NOT WORKING:
Just reboot into recovery and clear Cache and Dalvik cache as per Drellisdee's instructions DO NOT WIPE DATA
Thanks so much! This is amazing! Just a few questions. So im running velocity .3 with the turbo 4 and i have my 16 gb sdcard partitioned. How do i install apps off of my sdcard wen transfered from my pc? i used to use thinkfree office. I tried using the terminal and found the files on my sdcard but when i tried running the .apk files, i got permission denied. The superuser app is allowing terminal su permission of course. How can i install these apps? Specifically, im trying to install setcpu downloaded from ppcwarez instead of paying for it.
Trident, another amazing ROM. Thank you, but this one is short lived.. but it was worth re-rooting for a night!
Which ROM are you using?? Did you go back to V.2 ??
I miss the transparent status bar but needed the APPs2SD so this is a winner so far. At this point, all my APPs are redownloaded and working perfectly. Google Voice has a bug that the first attempt doesn't play the voicemail through the speaker phone. GPS still seems to take about 4 minutes to find me, but that's not a Velocity issue.
yea maybe its my computer that is so weird but i got it working.. i just had to manually type in through my phone... lol looks good so far testing it out now.. thanks
Trident, thank you very much for your work with the velocity releases. I was mildly impressed with the ally after upgrading from win-mo, but when I found velocity and started customizing, I have fallen in love with this phone. I run velocity 0.3 with the OC Kernel and have had no problems thus far. I have noticed that when overclocking to 797mhz with overclockingwidget, the system becomes unstable and crashes. I now run at 730mhz and runs alot more smoothly. Thanks again trident for another great release, I am definitely looking forward to a velocity 0.4 and will also donate a few dollars when I get the chance and extra funds. Once again, keep up the good work Trident and the velocity dev. team.
EDIT: Question I forgot to ask, does this update support android 2.2 update or not??

I had velocity 3 running with the gnm turbo 4 kernel but there were many applications still in application management that were old so i looked over Tridents instructions again and he says to wipe the data before flashing velocity 3 so i did this, cleared cache and Dalvik cache and flashed velocity 3 and now i am stuck in an endless loop on the velocity loading screen. I can boot into recovery but i dont know what i need to do to be able to boot the phone.. any suggestions????

Try re-wipiing data/cache/dalvik cache and re-flashing velocity?

In recovery there is an USB option (cant remeber the exact words) on the main menu. You can use that to mount your sdcard to your PC and place the files on it.

seems to be doin the same thing.. looping at the velocity screen. it shows the velocity logo with the light going back and forth for about a minute then it stops, goes away and just starts the loop again.
Should i try to flash a stock rom or anything else?
ugh so being my stupid self i read up on flashing cause i already rooted my phone with Universal Androot and everytime i try and install velocity_0.3_release.zip it restarted the first time with the terminal and my computer installed some weird quickboot driver but now everytime I try it again i just get the android guy with the exclamation point but my phone still boots up to the non flashed OS

If you have a backup of your stock rom go ahead and restore back to that. You can then re-try the process or just stay on stock.

EDIT: Just wanna say thank you again to dots for helping me out late into the night tryin to get my phone back online. I finally did it thanks to ur link.. I failed to read the ADDITION portion the first time around.
