Default Dialer hangs up sometimes

A few times when I have went to dial a phone number and press the first number or two, the last digit I press will stay lite up and then the dialer just hangs up and does nothing. I can get back to the home screen but it takes a long time for the dialer to unhang. I am on Code Name Android Rom with Lean Kernel. 1.7.

Anyone else seeing this happen? I have had it happen on other roms as well. The other day it never would release the dialer and just had to do a battery pull.

Ya know I've read a lot of posts where people experience this dialer hang/lag. I've yet to encounter it. Have you had it happen with every single ROM you've been on? With every single kernel combo as well? Maybe it's a "T9" bug do you have the option like with AOKP to turn T9 "off" in CNA?

I haven't had time to look. I will check into the T9 off thing. Thanks for the suggestion.

Did you ever get this problem resolved? I too have the same issue and am currently running Codename Android with Lean Kernel as well.
