Default Quick question about the official 4.04

The radio for the unofficial 4.04 build was FA02.

Does anyone know if the official 4.04 build had updated radios?

Is there anything after FA02?

The 4.0.4 was a leaked OTA, which I don't think I'd consider official at all. It didn't roll out en-mass. I'm very optimistic the radios will be updated in the 4.0.5 (or 4.0.6 if VZW keeps taking their sweet a$$ time), but who knows. That's the only thing I'm waiting on, as I'm already running AOKP b34 which is 4.0.4-based.

Oh...I thought there was leaked version of 4.04 months ago, but there was a newer official version of 4.04 that just released. The one that AOKP is based off of.

AOKP and many other 4.0.4 Roms are using 4.0.4 Source Code to compile their roms.

There is official 4.0.4 source code but no official 4.0.4 system version for the VZW Galaxy Nexus. I know that may sound confusing sorry lol

I know! If only it would leak (if it's legit)...the reports from the tester sounded very promising.

ok I'm a little confused...but I think this thread just cleared the fog in my head....I using the AOKP rom 4.0.4 (toro)b34. I'm looking at my phone and it shows the baseband version to be i515.09 v eko5/i1515.eko2, Thats the radio version, right?
I'm thinking I need to flash the newer radios FAO2 right? Basically besides the newer rom, im still running the older radios which had some of the problems anyway.....right? lol

thanks

You are correct in that you are running the EK05 cdma and EK02 LTE radios which hail from our beloved 4.0.2.

About "needing" to flash the later 4.0.4 FA02 radios? Your guess is as good as mine... You'll have to try them and see if you "needed to!"

I've settled on the 4.0.2 radios (the ones you are presently on) as they've given me the best all around performance and 4G reliability. Your location may vary.

Here are the flashable .zip files if you'd like to try --->

Nice sorcery JB!

dock, radios are radios. if they work then it doesn't matter which ones you have! the 4.04 radios didn't take on my device, so i am teetering between the .02 and .03 ones to see which perform better!

happy flashing!!
