Default Wallet asked for su access?

I just updated wallet in the market. It asked for super user access. I thought that was rather weird. Anyone else notice this?

I remember a thread from about two weeks ago. A couple people who rooted noticed it...

No one (from my memory) could figure out any negative effects or why it might :/

That's what I was a afraid of, I'm still on R57v5 , but it says I'm "up to date" in the app...

After my last ROM change I couldn't get the market trick to work, ended restoring from Ti. It works fine, but I'm worried about getting updates ... :/

So the general consensus is: not only is it okay to deny root access, but it's preferred?
