On the rootzwiki thread, page 138, last post there's a link. Each of these test builds/previews are unofficial and they haven't merged everything yet. But Steve's build 1 is the best so far.
Edit: also if you flash a different kernel color gamma and color multipliers tuning can be adjusted. Navbar glow is back.
Edit: also might want to flash the color boot animation. Best fricken AOKP boot animation to date. And zenyth navbar.

Happy to say I'm back on the preview builds (for both my GNex and my N7). Running real smooth...only thing that is screwy is the keyboard. It doesn't predict what the next word is going to be like the jellybean keyboard is supposed to do. Anyone?
i have used swype for nearly a year. screw pecking for letters lol.
so anyways, i got my wife a nexus 7(kinda the way homer bought marge a bowling ball.... except marge started bowling), and i'm fixin to buy myself one. what ROM are you running on that?

Was running winner00's CM10 kang on it since I got it pretty much...but I just flashed the AOKP preview for it and it's a THOUSAND times smoother. It oozes butter. The first build had broken everything so I didn't flash it, nothing is broken in this one and I'm really really enjoying it. You won't be disappointed. My wife came from an Apple family. She was ecstatic when iPhone came to Verizon. I think the nexus 7 is truly her first android device. She is completely against jailbreaking/rooting lol. I'll have to wait til I get my own nexus 7 lol

Yikes tough luck! Missing out! Though it doesn't take away from the awesomeness of that device at all

Hey y'all. Some of you may not know this but jbdan and his wife just had their first child. Since he is going to be preoccupied with all the normal newborn baby duties, I will be updating this and his other threads to the best of my ability. Hope that is cool with y'all.
To those of you who've been following my Play Movies issue...here's something interesting...AOKP on GNex, Play Movies doesn't work. AOKP on Nexus 7, Play Movies works fine. AOKP+Toro issue? Anyone have any other devices running AOKP to check?

I have been following and though I haven't been as vocal as you about this issue it is bugging the heck outa me too. Don't have any other devices though. I wish this would just work. I wonder what the CM Kangs are doing that allow Movies to work that other devs are not doing? And I also wonder if this will get resolved, in AOKP toro, once Roman merges everyone's work into an official build of AOKP?

Dunno, because I asked in the ICS AOKP thread and people on M6 said it didn't work for them either..so if they haven't fixed it thus far, will they now?

I'm on preview 7. Theme chooser is on it... I don't really care for themes, so I probably didn't need to flash it, but I guess I'm a crack flasher? Lol

I dirty flashed and am having some glitches, but only with the theme chooser. I don't use the theme chooser, so no biggie. I'll clean flash when an official build comes out.

How's this running for everyone else?
Running perfectly for me. What kinda bugs you having with the theme chooser? Only bug I get is every time I uninstall a theme from it it sends me to a hot reboot, but my N7 does the same so I'm assuming it's a bug in Team Kang's theme chooser code
I hit theme chooser and it reboots the phone lol. Like a half reboot. Goes straight to the boot animation for like 5 seconds, then everything is restarting lol.
Like I said, I don't use the theme chooser though. I bought an icon pack before I got the nexus for the go launcher, and I've been using these icons with nova. Then I flashed the zenith navbar icons.

What's a hot reboot? I'm sure I did something wrong when I dirty flashed. It doesn't bother me. Everything else is working proper. I'll clean flash the first official build.
Also, which gapps are you using? I used the gapps 7/26 I got off of goo

A hot reboot is where it skips past the boot logo (the black screen with the Google logo and the unlocked icon) and goes straight in to the boot animation. Many reboot apps have an option to do that, as well as some custom ROMs (I think CM used to) and I think it is meant to reduce boot time.

Great question!
When the Nexus Prime was still in rumorville and the Galaxy Nexus Epic Thread was rocking its way all over the internet, I was desperate for a new phone. In the 6 months before the December 15th release of the Nexus Prime, I owned a Droid Incredible 1& 2 as well as a Droid X2. I was going crazy trying to get the best Android experience possible.
All along I was a member here and following every rumor I could about this phantom Verizon Nexus device. When it finally came to light in November that it would release on Verizon, I asked my family to help me purchase it as my Christmas gift. A little feather ruffling but four family members partook in this endeavor. That photo is on Christmas day. It was a box which contained exactly 150 dollars in one dollar bills and a photo of the device. I had purchased the phone on launch day but the gesture meant all the same to me.
"@AOKP_ROM: Exciting news- we're going to begin doing "nightly" builds! (Quotes 'cuz it may not be every night) New features being added all the time!"
