I knew it... Just as soon as I got my phone "right" you drop this on me. Downloaded it about 6 am Texas time.. Full wipe and factory reset flash then spent all day setting my phone back up. Worth the work.!!! Buttery does not do justice to the slickness of this ROM. So far, Zero bugs/issues noted after over 12 hours of heavy use. Seamless and unlike the other JB roms. Everything, Everything... EveryThing! in this works.. Period.
Thank you Team Sourcery!

no as soon as i open tapatalk and log in, it closes, and did it after i went to the cobalt misc in sourcery tools
and then back to stock 3.0 pngs
and thats when everything got all screwy looking, if you want to try go for it, im still trying to figure out why it will not allow me to upload a picture...
I'm still seeing a mix of blue/white icons on the nav bar options menu but now 3 of them are blue and only 1 white (4th icon which is search). I don't use Tapatalk so other than that, I'm having zero issues. I just switched today from the pre-release but I was getting stellar battery life, I'm hoping and expecting that will be the same. Great rom, thanks for all the work thus far. Without a doubt it's my daily.
Sorry guys lots of changes with JB.. replaced the 3.0 (old stuff) with new 1.0 JB this should fix it for you. it fixes all the distortion for sure. we are looking at the other mods in there and will remove them until we can redo them if they are causing problems.
thanks we just cant catch everything in the 3 gigs of mods
all, anyone having issues seeing pics from their own sdcard.... here is a helpful post from id on a rootz thread of ours
Most of the missing media (pictures, ringtones, etc.) problems are caused by a bug in the previous version of ROM Manager.
It mistakenly dropped a .nomedia file onto the root of your sdcard.
Just get the latest update to ROM Manager from playstore so it doesn't happen again, then delete /sdcard/.nomedia, go to manage apps and clear data in media storage then reboot to rerun your media scanner and all should be back to normal.
FYI, the .nomedia file hides any folder (and sub folder) it's in from the media scanner (meaning android can't find it) so you want it in most of the folders it's in (like temp folders) to keep junk out of your gallery. But u don't want it on the root of your sdcard for obvious reasons. :-)
If you are looking for a smooth running fully customizable JB ROM this is it. I've been running it all day with great battery life and ZERO issues/crashes.
Won't work on the stock kernel. You'll need to flash a custom kernel. I've been using the newest Leankernel and it pairs great with this rom. Excellent battery life as well.
The torch toggle sometimes takes 2-3 times before it starts working. After that, it'll work with each cycle of the toggle until I reboot. Then it's hit and miss for the first few presses again. Anyone else notice this or no?

Didn't try that until I read your post. Mine does the same thing and once after 3 taps to turn it on, the only way I was able to turn it off was to reboot. The app color flashlight works perfect tho... dint have to pull down the menu, just hit the apps icon on my home screen... quicker.
no but give them enough time and they will include it. I believe they will update everything in sourcery tools and there you will find some new things. (I believe anyway)
these guys are very good at what they do, just need to give them some time to include it.

have you tried iowabowtech's recommendation as far as kernel wise?
it may take some time, as you will need to experiment with each individual one

yea im in the process of finding a good one, once i get once and custom lockscreen icons get added this thing will be a beast...oh and inverted gapps lol...
they read about all of the posts in their threads and they take into consideration what the users want. which is a VERY good thing, and they do their best to incorporate it into their rom. it is basically a user made rom done by devs to give you everything you want.

i may just wait for the features i mentioned are baked in b/c like i said once those three get put in it'll be my daily for a long while...
hopefully tht happens with the next release which hopefully is SOON...
If you want to tinker and dabble, being able to change EVERything, this is the rom for you. I'm a gadget freak. I am really enjoying learning about this. Bravo, tdevaughn, just. plain. bravo. Amazing.
New stuff
4 different weather icon packs for lock screen weather( in misc)
30 or so car logo lock rings
in softkey area at bottom ability to flash stock shaped highlights if you dont like what came with your softkeys. for the colored ones you must go to navbar and set the nav glow to 8 zero's (00000000) which will show grey and white boxes. you can then see the color.
as before tmobile themes hijack a lot of this capability.
We hope your having fun and look for more fun coming very soon.
We are glad your liking. we have some great surprises coming

I was about to say no issues here as I needed it last night and it worked as expected. But I just gave it another try before responding and it didn't work every time. The toggle changes to show it's on but the light was not illuminated. Then I toggled it off/on and it worked correctly. This was the first time I tried it today and it was after a reboot as well.
Side note for you trolls, Galaxy SIII apps (s-voice and more) are easily downloaded and installed through Sourcery tools built into the ROM. This ROM has great customization and the developers are very responsive to suggestions and concerns.

no idea wth all that means but im guessing a new rom is in the works, hopefully one or two of my suggestions sneak in lol
Found an issue I've seen in other ROMs as well. Google tracks is off on speed/distance calculations. The GPS is tracking me accurately but reports the speed incorrectly. I run at a 6 mph pace but on today's run of a route I've done many times it averaged me at 6.95 mph and says I went 5 miles when in fact I ran at 6 mph and went 4 miles. I did all the usual clear application data blah blah blah to no avail. (Bugless Beast works accurately) Any suggestions?
Really enjoying this rom. Excellent & speedy support from the devs. I requested the ability to change the glow for the zenyth keys and within a short time it became a new setting in tools>softkeys!
For the record i have tried all the jellybellys, aokp builds up to 8/15, xenon up to 8.0, vicious, bamf paradigms, cm10 kangs, liquidsmooth beta 1&2 and a couple others i cant think of the names right now.. Soon as i realized sourcery was on jb i tried it and now im a proud resident my bestest so far.
I've also flashed in lean kernel and so far it is very smooth and snappy with the interactive overclock set to max 1.3. Great battery life with this setup.
My dropbox has inverted G apps that you can use with this rom. Although my guess is eventually it could be baked into the rom.

How long, in time, did it take you to run the 4 miles?
No i mean this rom is REALLY amazing. I'm donating now. I can't believe how much you can do with it! I was talking to GranMasterB (former mod here, close friend of mine) and we were both wondering the same thing:
How do they cram all that stuff in there? (They must zip it twice.)
Seriously, I love this... This is now, imo, the best jb rom for toro, for gadget/feature lovers, by FAR. It is also a dependable daily driver.

Steven's Stamp of Good Housekeeping Approval.
Exactly why I been on JBSourcery, (then ICSourcery) sense I first heard about it...on this forum.
Just flashed this, was pleasantly surprised to see a couple of my boot animations in the list
I'm not seeing anything in my gallery (just completely black) and I've checked, there isn't a .nomedia file at the root of my sdcard.
Also, where are mods downloaded? I'm trying to install the alternative gallery to see if it fixes it, but I'm not able to find it in recovery after downloading it.

Overall after flashing from Xenon 9.0 I am pleasantly surprised. With a rom with so many options I was expecting less than great battery life, but myself and the girlfriend were at Knotts Berry Farm and I still have 60% left even after playing with a bunch of the mods. May give LeanKernel a run too, just because it's all built in :-)
Well done Team Sourcery!
PS: After tinkering around some more, I found out that after I changed the lockscreen circle icon, I wanted to go back to the stock unlock icon but it's not an option anywhere. Would it be possible to add that in the future? Also the cherry on top would be a Toyota and/or Hyundai logo lockscreen icon as well
if your having no media shown check your push messages if you dont have them set to alert you. follow those insturctions with the no media fix and see if it works for you. I simulated the problem and following those instructions it worked for me after breaking it intentionally it restored with those instructions.
Viper thanks..Stock JB Lock ring now at top of Lock ring mods. as well as some more added.
3 new weather icon packs added.. (those are in the misc section for now)
We have some great magic coming. its a lot of changes and a lot of work is going into getting it all set up.
No ETA other than soon. And that it will be offered in the rom before it is released on the forums.
This will be a complete rom as there are over 50 changes to the rom. as we are making it as feature rich to last a little while so the themers can show you there magic. which they haven't been able to with the updates speeds we have been doing since release.
Thanks for using our rom. We hope you are having fun with it.
