Spent the last hour or so setting up JBS.

WOW!

My only question - so far - is why the stock bootanimation isn't in the list of bootanims to flash. It's really cool and I'd like to flash back to it from time to time

My only request - SO FAR - is to have the ability to set notification text colors. All that white text is nice, but I prefer ICS blue and would love to set it that way.

Thanks for an awesome ROM experience!

That's the one with the two swirling dots flying over the water, then they fly up and then it's the Sourcery icon with ICS Android turning into Jelly Bean Android. Does that make ANY sense? It's a little early here

I've been running Formula 84's custom Gapps package and can verify it works great on this rom:

[GApps] 4.1.1-398337 JRO03C GApps Package 08/11/12 - [VZW] Galaxy Nexus Development - RootzWiki

Although I did have some camera pics showing originally, using those Gapps allows Picasa pics to sync which wasn't working on the 7/26 Gapps.

So far, all the mods I've selected installed from within the rom itself, you don't have to go to recovery which is the beauty of the rom. I'm no expert but it appears to me, they are virtual links and they auto flash through some sort of background shell. Smoke and mirrors, I guess that's why they call it Sourcery.

Alright you two, what are some of the mods you have set up. Downloading now, and would like to have something set up, but it sounds like there are tons to choose from. What did you pick and what are some must haves?

Definitely a matter of taste but I like the blue reflective softkeys, I've been running those on most JB roms. The mods I really love on this rom though are at Sourcery Tools > Icons > Cobalt (newer version). Also, the same Cobalt mod for status bar. Those two mods make this phone so much more sharp.

I also added leankernel. It pairs perfectly with this rom. Ideal.

Overall after flashing from Xenon 9.0 I am pleasantly surprised. With a rom with so many options I was expecting less than great battery life, but myself and the girlfriend were at Knotts Berry Farm and I still have 60% left even after playing with a bunch of the mods. May give LeanKernel a run too, just because it's all built in :-)

Well done Team Sourcery!

PS: After tinkering around some more, I found out that after I changed the lockscreen circle icon, I wanted to go back to the stock unlock icon but it's not an option anywhere. Would it be possible to add that in the future? Also the cherry on top would be a Toyota and/or Hyundai logo lockscreen icon as well
While you slept the magic rom was at work. and the stock, toyota, hyundai seemed to have appeared.

You guys are freaking amazing. I wasn't expecting great battery life out of such a feature heavy rom, but whoa. This thing flies!

On the plus side, Lightflow actually works with this rom unlike many JB roms I've tried.

Hello,

I think I might give this ROM a try based off what others are saying. I don't like to flash a lot and so I am wondering is version 2.0 coming out soon or should I go ahead and flash away 1.0?

soon the question is is it verizons definition of soon we hope not

its up to you i just cant give out a eta but we are finalizing things and i want to get it out asap since we are feature frozen on it at this time. just finishing up the functions of those last couple features.

If you dont like to flash again within a week than i say wait. although youll regret waiting when you do load it ..we hope

I guarentee you have never seen a rom like this one.

But it will be better in next release so its up to you.

Whoa wtf so i went and downloaded the free uber jelly theme from the market and now i have the percentage displayed like aokp. Didnt know those theme include that. Btw its a beautiful theme

Edit: just tested and confirmed no percent display on stock theme at least on my phone. Uber jelly theme does indeed add the percent

This ROM is insane! I'm in tweaking heaven. Lock screen targets are needed but I'm sure that's around the bend. Just when I thought I knew what love was.

Wow, this ROM is a blast.

Ok so this rom has me modding things I never even thought about! Custom Atlanta Falcons lock ring...yes please!! Custom Atlanta Braves boot animation...yes please!!! Red lock screen dots....yes please!!! Custom notification bar widget icons...yes please! These customizations are awesome and very easy to apply! Very well done Team Sourcery! Gonna ride with this one for a while. Look forward to the next release that hopefully has lock screen targets and custom led notification settings but even if not the rest of these options will keep me here!

Oh, and the default Free Bird ringtone is a nice touch!! lol

Now you have to boot into recovery and flash the file to install it.

Like shark said, go into recovery. It'll give you that option once you download a pack that requires flashing from recovery. Then choose install zip from SD card > choose zip from sdcard. Goto location Sourcery Tools > Mods, it'll be there waiting for you.

Quick question. After installing a different battery mod, SystemUI force closes to restore the mod. Is this normal for everyone?

Also, is anyone else experiencing their wallpaper changing after changing a random mod? It's happened to me a few times now where I'll install a new mod and the wallpaper will change either back to the stock live wallpaper or the JBSourcery wallpaper

The system ui forces closes on several mods, sometimes it still completes, but sometimes a reboot is needed.

I too have the wallpaper change after applying some mods.

yes, both are common....
the way we interact with the system sometimes it gets confused and a reboot is needed.

the wallpaper, happens on all the mods. still looking for ways around it, but as of yet just a small annoyance.

I have to tell you, I have used Jelly Belly, Xenon, and CNA and loved each of them for different reasons, but this ROM has surpassed all of the, rolling up each of the reasons I loved each of them into one package.

The options to customize are so plentiful, it is almost overwhelming.

Fantastic job devs. A donation is definitely on its way.

Hey, one thing I can't find, at least not yet, is the ability to make the signal bars the numbers instead. Is it buried in there some place?

I just flashed this ROM (after seeing Chief rave about it) and I LOVE IT!!! One of my favorite things is the unread notifications count. I can't wait to explore more and see what else I find!!!
