Default Tethering on cyanogenmod?

I have been running cyanogenmod for some time now and know tethering works. I was just wondering is it safe to tether. I don't need to get billed.

Are you on an unlimited plan or one with a data bucket?

I ask because you're allowed to tether on plans that aren't unlimited

If you do have unlimited, you just have to make sure you don't go crazy with it.

The Verizon share plans explicitly allow tethering. The per-device fees are only for the devices that connect directly to Verizon via LTE or 3G radio, so there's no charge for a WiFi only device (like my Galaxy Tab). The only charges for tethering is the actual data usage.
