Default How to root Verizon GS4 SCH-I545 VRUDMI1 with Linux?

Hey guys I have a friend with a GS4 he's got the latest update VRUDMI1 and I'm trying to root it for him with no luck. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS how can I root his device from my machine? I'm seeing a couple of utilities for Win but he tried one with no success, I want to do it from my Ubuntu machine can you guys help me out? Thanks
