Question RMT Alert/Wireless Emergency Alerting System

Hey, has anyone else gotten a message about RMT Alerts? I've included a screenshot of my phone to show you guys. It's basically saying it's a test of the Emergency Alerting System. I have never seen this before on my cell phone and just wanted to know if anyone else got it.

Deana, It's a Required Monthly Test of the Emergency Alert System, in which, if it was an actual emergency, an alert should go out within 10 minutes of the discovery of the situation.

We have 3 phones on a family plan. Here in Hawaii, I got one yesterday morning about 7:15am. My wife was at work, did not get one and my daughter, going to school in Sacramento, CA, did not get one either.

Maybe just certain towers get them? I'm sure we'll get more info later.

Restarted my Dx and it came up right away in the San Joaquin Valley (Modesto area). It also showed up yesterday as well.

EDIT:
Just noticed that there's a new software update for the Dx. It enables the Wireless Alerting Systems by default. So if you had it disabled before, this update turned it back on. Now it makes sense!
