droid incredible 2

i want to get from wirefly.

whats teh catch? i hera they have it like if u cancel early u gota pay 350$ to verizon and then 350$ to wirefly... :S

anything else i should know?

also, is it global? ( I WANT GLOBAL!!)

is it considered a real droid? (does it have DROIIIID notification?)

also, we should all party, verizon has reduced its dataplan for 3g to 20$ for 300mb....but t-mobile has 2gb 4g for 20$..../sigh ....but still at least the bill is more affordable and we can say we have superior service!!!

with wirefly, like the other online retailers you have to sign an extra contract that is usually 6 months (so a 30 month committment). during the first six months you can not make any changes to your price plan (adding texting, ect) or you will be charged the full retail amount of the phone.

The inc2 is indeed global, however it does not have the "droid" notification sound, thats a motorola thing. If you get a program/ap like "zedge" you will be able to download that notification for free.

TMobile has lower internet prices, though it is throttled to oblivion, and unless you live in a major metro area, you probably won't have much for coverage, whereas vzw is just about everywhere. hence the difference in the price of the services.

If you're referring to the sound that plays when you boot up the phone that sounds like a robot saying "DROID", that is not a Motorola thing. That was included on the official FroYo release for the original Incredible as well, which is made by HTC.

fair enough, I've been wrong before, lol. btw, whereabouts in mad-town are ya? I lived there for four years and loved it. Gonna be heading back next year probably.

ahh so your new to mad town. very nice, it is an awesome city, no doubt. If you haven't had the chance, you gotta check out state street, especially on game days (when the badgers play). Brothers was my favorite spot down town, that and wando's for the fish bowls, they are awesome. I'll actually be heading into mad town tonight, going to the packer game tomorrow! Go Pack!
