Default Call Log?!

Hey everyone,

Here's the story. I went out last Friday and met a girl, we exchanged numbers. I plan on calling her back. However, last night, my phone was spontaneously bricked. After freaking out for a solid couple minutes, I calmed down, and restored my phone with a backup. However, because I restored my phone to a backup (which was made weeks ago), I have lost this girl's number. I thought the number was lost and gone, never to be seen again, but I thought of something. Verizon has to have the call log! I'm not the holder of the account, but I think your call log is shown on your bill? Yes/no? I also think I can find the call log on Verizon's website. I've gotten to the point I've found something, but I don't know if it's legit. After searching around for a while, I was directed to Verizon Call Assistant. Here's the link:

https://www36.verizon.com/callassistant/signin.aspx

It doesn't look like an official Verizon page, and the link doesn't match the normal "verizonwireless.com" format. What do you guys think? Is there a way I can retrieve this girl's number? Or am I doomed, destined to be lonely forever?

The app "Call Track" is indespensible - it logs your calls to your gmail calendar - brick phone proof!

I would suggest asking the account holder to log onto verizonwireless.com you may be able to yourself. I think the site you linked is for Verizon home phone service which would likely not work for you. But you should be able to look at the bill to see the calls made on your line.

I agree.

Once they log into "My Verizon" from the home screen they can click View Usage. Under Voice Minutes click View Call Details and you get an itemized list of all inbound and outbound calls from within the past 30 minutes to the beginning of the billing cycle.

Previous call details can be accessed from "View Bill", change the billing date as desired, and click on view usage.

The only issue with this is it does not show missed calls. So if she called your phone, but you didn't answer and it was stored in the recent list as a missed call, it will not be on the website.
