Default same old sim + new phone == horrible data?!?

I purchased a RAZR MAXX yesterday and simply moved my SIM card over to it... the problem is, the data is constantly connecting and disconnecting. So much so as to render the phone useless for data purposes at times. I called Verizon last night and they suggested powering down, pulling the sim, reinserting the sim and powering on. I did this, and it is still crap.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I would accuse VZW of dorking-up the activation of my service except I am using the same SIM card I had for the last several months... and I can make voice and data works occasionally.

I've googled for any info, and even have used logcat to monitor the logs and nothing really stands-out there. the logcat is too big to attach, so if you need it I'll post it to pastebin or equiv.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
-C

I didn't think you could just move the 4g SIM card from one phone to another? I mean, you can physically, but I thought I heard it's tied to a particular device. Might be why it isn't working in the new phone?
